My family and I currently live in the US and use the chalet for summer and winter vacations. My wife's family is from the local area in Switzerland and get the opportunity to use the chalet when it's available. My sister-in-law and I have been tasked with managing the property and to make it as welcoming as possible to visiting travelers. We hope you enjoy it.
My wife's grandfather built this chalet is the late 1800's and over the generations family members have added and renovated the chalet to make it a home-away-from-home. We greatly enjoy the chalet for many reasons, but most importantly we enjoy the chalet because of it's stunning location. One look out the front windows and it's obvious why we love visiting the chalet.
There's nothing unique or out of the ordinary about our chalet. There doesn't need to be. If you've ever been to Switzerland you'll understand that all you need is a view and some family or friends to enjoy this place. It's updated with all the amenities one would expect to have at home...without TV or Internet. When we visit the chalet we are not there to plug in or watch TV...we are there to get out and either ski or hike and just enjoy nature. It may sound crazy, but one visit and you may have to agree.
