Oceanfront 2BR/2BA Lanai Sunset View + Pool

This beautiful condo at the Polynesian Shores worked out great for us. The owner equipped the unit with so many wonderful amenities and well thought out personal touches...where do I start?!? First, it was a real joy to have nice amenities like good cookware, knives, and kitchenware. I'd like to thank the owner for not skimping on those items as using good quality kitchen ware made it so much nicer for us gals who enjoyed cooking for our guys (we ate in and grilled nearly every night)!. Also, a huge thank you for the personal touches of the chocolates, pineapple, and Kona coffee - very much appreciated!! We REALLY appreciated the wireless connection. That made it so convenient for us as, even though we're on vacation, we frequently check our work emails to keep up with what's going on at the office. Loved the Hawaiian CD's, the flat screen TV, and all of the great furnishings. I know I didn't capture everything but suffice it to say, no stone was left unturned and we couldn't have asked for a nicer place. The only bummer was the news about the deck being torn down...we were really looking forward to spending evenings on the Tiki Deck but were able to make up for it just by hanging out at the bar-b-ques and the little mini-deck. Everyone was super friendly and hospitable and, of course, the amazing views and watching the turtles in the evenings more than made up for that. My husband and I are frequent visitors to Maui but this time we brought along our very good friends who (surprisingly) had never been to Hawaii. We spent a lot of time showing them the sights along the coastal trail at the Ritz, hiking to the Nakalele blow hole, took a half-day snorkel tour with Trilogy and they took a helicopter trip around the island. Needless to say, we had the time of our lives and our friends would definitely like to come back again some day. Thanks again for everything and for making our stay extra special. It will be an experience we'll remember fondly for many years to come!
