Eleuthera means 'freedom' in Greek, an appropriate name for this island paradise. Leave your watch and your cell phone at home because when you step off the plane you're on island time. You'll find Eleuthera just south of Abaco Island and about 250 miles due east of Miami. Still largely undiscovered, visitors are lured by its' pink and white sand beaches and turquoise blue waters. You'll enjoy lazy beach days exploring secluded coves, snorkeling and fishing in crystal clear water. For surfers, Eleuthera boasts some of the best waves of the Bahama's out islands. This cottage, located in Surfer's Beach, is the perfect getaway for one or two couples, small families or surfing groups. Conveniently located, it's just a five minute walk to pristine Surfer's Beach. The two-bedroom, one-bath cottage can sleep six and requires a four night minimum stay (but you'll want to stay longer).
