Or, drive a short distance to outlet malls, golf courses, movie theaters, nature trails, high-end shopping, art galleries and the world renowned Ringling complex featuring an art gallery, circus museum and restored mansion. Venture further to Busch Gardens in Tampa (1 hour) or Disney World in Orlando (2 hours) Frequent special events include art fairs, farmers' markets, flea markets and historic celebrations.

Location: Anna Maria Island is about 16 miles due west of Exit 220 on Interstate 75. Sarasota/Bradenton International Airport is 20 minutes away and Tampa International Airport is about an hour north.
