I cannot say enough good things about our experience. We just returned from a 3 day stay, and we are already planning a return visit!
The owners were great to work with. They provided great comminication both before and during our visit. The house was immaculate. Everything was newly updated and beautifully decorated. The view was inctedible! It was so relaxing to sit out on the back deck and take it all in.
We cannot recommend this place enough. If you are looking for an up north getaway, this is your place!
The lake is cute but big enough for tubing and skiing. Then you arrive at this adorable cottage that looks pretty small, but had plenty of room with a nice layout. I felt like I walked into a model home. Everything was brand new, and smelled brand new. Tons of cleaning supplies filled the closets and cabinets under sinks to easily maintain without having to go to buy supplies at the store. We loved the kitchen, which had all brand new appliances. No central air, but the window units worked so efficiently. Beds were very comfortable, and they did a great job with all the recessed lighting throughout the cottage. Beautiful view of the lake through large windows. Bunk beds in 2nd room, with day bed and trundle in 3rd make it really nice for kids. Very quiet at night. I also loved that the yard is all fenced in up to the water. My favorite spot was sitting on the back deck, while the kids (age 4 and 6) played and splashed in the shallow waterfront. It was very shallow up to the end of the dock, so we didn't have to worry about them as they played. They literally lived in that water from sun up to sun down and had a blast. My husband and kids caught tons of fish from the dock. Definitely a highlight for them. A campfire with family stories under the stars was the perfect end to each day. This was the best vacation for a family who lives very busy lives the rest of the year. We stayed 7 days, and I could have had another week. We are already talking about coming back for a couple nights in the fall. We felt like this house was our own, and made some of the simplest but best memories that week in a sleepy little lake town. We also went to the Lumberjack Festival nearby and had a blast. Our 6 year old won the "greased pig contest" which was hilarious for our city family.

We had a spectacular time and have already recommended it to countless family and friends.
I can't stop talking about how amazing the owners of this cottage are. From the very beginning, they were very helpful and always responded to all of our questions. Once we arrived there we were amazed at how cute and well equipped this cottage was. Everything you could possibly need was available for us to use. They had fire wood, lawn chairs, tiki torches, fuel, bug spray, towels, dishes, band aids and everything else you could possibly need! And to top it all off, they were just genuinely nice people. Once we returned from vacation i had noticed that i had lost my ring. I knew it had fallen out of my pocket at the cottage but had no idea where and when. I called the owner who had just returned from the cottage. He said he had not found a ring while they were there (I didn't think he would anyway but I thought it was worth a shot) The next evening he texted me and said he had found it and asked for my address so he could mail it to me. He didn't tell me that but he had made it a point to go back to the cottage to search for my ring prior to the next vacationers arrival. I can't even begin to explain how grateful I am for such amazing people. You will not be disappointed staying at this cottage. It is adorable, it is very clean, it is equipped with anything you could possibly need and best of all the owners are just great people. Thank you guys for sharing your cottage with us. We made great memories and can't wait to come back some day!
We really enjoyed the time in the cottage. The cottage is completely remodeled and well equipped. All you can think of you will find at the cottage (lawn chairs, torch, firewood, mosquito spray, kitchen towels, beach towels, ...). We also had a great time on the lake with the paddle boat which belongs to the house (for a little extra charge). There is a little store close to the cottage where you can find nearly everything. It is a great place to relax and enjoy your time off. The cottage has well water which smells a little bit but it gets better after a while. We definitely would come back.
We stayed for three nights during the week, arriving on a Sunday and departing on Wednesday. The cabin was such a pleasant surprise, it was so clean and had everything you needed to get you started for your vacation.. cold water in the fridge, paper plates, paper towels, aluminum foil, condiments, olive oil.. salt pepper.. etc. The bed was really comfortable.. it felt like home. We used the weber grill every night and cooked amazing steaks, chicken and burgers. We brought our 17 ft boat, the launch was a mile away and the dock was perfect. We enjoyed the lake ALOT! It was very quiet during our stay. I loved that the lake community had a general store that had everything.. this was our outing for the day.. going to the store! lol
Also, there is a great restaurant-bar called Big Al's. we enjoyed it very much. This is a great lake community.. you don't have to venture far all you need is right there!
The cabin is almost totally done and remodeled. There was some finishing that was lacking but it really did not bother us at all. My only complaint would be that there is no cable t.v. however they do have a DVD player and a nice selection of DVD's. Cable or Dish TV would be a nice addition. Don't hesitate to rent this! You will not be disappointed!!! We will return!!
