My husband & I purchased our condo in the SRC, because of its lush well maintained landscape, the tranquil duck ponds & fountains, the peaceful backyard patio, and the security gate factor. Also, we enjoy the well lit condo due to the atrium, the South windows, and the bathroom skylight. I have been vacationing in PS with my family, since I was a very young girl. Visiting the desert brings back those fond memories. This is our only rental & it is our home away from home. The desert is a great place for relaxing & rejuvenation. We plan to retire here in the future.
We have a few favorite restaurants we visit often. The Fisherman Market & Grill in downtown Palm Springs have delicious fish tacos & fried calamari. There is a live blue's band on Friday & Saturday evenings. Ruben & Ozzy's Oyster Bar & Grill located on Tahquitz Canyon features yummy Cioppino & Campechana (Mexican Seafood Cocktail). You can't go wrong with anything you order here. We really enjoy going to the La Quinta Cliff House Bar & Grill. They offer a spectacular view of the valley. You can dine in or out. We prefer just dining in the bar area where you can enjoy nightly specials. On the weekends, it's fun to hang out at Las Casuelas Terraza for music & dancing. They have delicious margaritas, guacamole, salsa, and chips.
