Sunset Bay is located directly on a private, deep water cove of Lake Chatuge. Fish, swim or launch your canoe or kayak directly from the dock. There are tennis courts on site for your use as well. Just across the road is the GA Mtn Fairgrounds, home of the GA Mtn Fair and Anderson Music Hall with it's star-studded line up of performers throughout the year. Rainy days call for indoor fun; head for Fun World, with over 200 arcade games, rock wall climbing, laser tag, go-cart racing, a Cinema 6, pizzeria & many area restaurants and shops. “Sittin’ on the Dock of the Bay” . . . : (Sunset Bay, that is, on pristine Lake Chatuge), there’s a perfect place to launch your plans (and your boat) for a fun-filled get-away in the North Georgia Mountains. Located just 5 minutes from the heart of town, this prime corner unit luxury townhouse has a commanding view of the lake and mountains and 2 balconies to enjoy it from. There’s an integral garage big enough to house 2 cars (or a car with boat trailer attached) just a short walk down from the unit.
3 Private Suites: In all, there are 3 bedroom suites: 2 on the upper level one on the main. Located on the upper level is the Master suite with King sized bed, private balcony and a Master Bath with jetted Jacuzzi garden style tub, double sinks and granite countertops. At the far end of the hall is a 2nd suite set up with Twin beds, TV/DVD player and a full bath as well. The 3rd suite is located off by itself on the main level with a Queen sized bed, TV/DVD player and full bath. The living room has a queen size sleeper sofa to accommodate 2 more guests for a total of 8.
The living room/ dining area also has a balcony with seating, perfect for watching the incredible sunsets (from which the community takes its name) over the lake and mountains. Also in the living room area, you’ll find a large armoire with a computer for guests use (bring your external hard drive and plug right in) with DSL so you don’t have to miss your email.
Watch TV or a movie on DVD and don’t miss a beat while preparing the popcorn, thanks to the handy serve-through from the kitchen. Here, too is extra seating with bar stools and overhead lighting. The kitchen is fully equipped with all stainless steel appliances, dinnerware, cookware, utensils, coffee maker, toaster, blender, and all you need to make the most of stretching your budget and eating in (or sending out). There's lots of cupboard space and countertop area, double sinks and under-cabinet ambient lighting.
All towels and linens are provided and there’s a washer and dryer in the laundry room, along with an iron and ironing board for your convenience. Complimentary soaps, bathroom tissue, paper towels and trash bags are also provided.
