CASA BLANCA - VIEWS, SPACIOUSNESS, QUIET, COMFORT

We bought this house because we love the beauty and privacy of Water Island and were fortunate to be friends with long-time residents who introduced us to it. Like all the Virgins, the water is perfect, and the pace of the island can't be matched. The road is essentially one lane so most people have golf carts. Some like to go to St. Thomas to shop and eat; others never want to leave the view from the deck, or the pleasure of the beach. It's great for kids, since they can roam on their own, catching turtles, following iguanas, fishing or playing in the sand. Whenever we're there, we never want to leave.

Our property manager will greet you, take you to the house, and tell you all you want to know about the house and the happenings on the island during your stay. Casa Blanca boasts three large bedrooms and one smaller bedroom, with a king, a queen and futon, twin beds with a futon, and a double bed. The 35' living area has a large living space facing the water and mountains of St. Thomas, an entertainment area with a 32'' screen TV, and a dining table that can seat up to 10. The house comes with a 6 seat golf cart, with four seats facing forward. There are books, DVDs, videos and games to choose from, as well as some snorkel gear and fishing equipment at your disposal. The kitchen is fully equipped and ready for you, but if you don't want to cook, Heidi's Honeymoon Grill usually cooks burgers, chicken sandwiches, etc. on the beach at noon - as well as a candle-lit dinner on Saturday night on the beach, and Joe's Bar provides beachside music at the other end of the beach. The folks at Pirate's Ridge on the island serve pizza and may have other meals ready for you. Most Monday evenings, people drive their golf carts down for a drive-in movie - a screen stretched between two palm trees on the beach! And Heidi, of course, with popcorn, hot dogs, and a bar! You may be there for bingo nights or full moon nights up at the Fort to watch the sun set and the moon rise. There's nothing like the experience of Water Island!
