Enjoy a cozy vacation in our fully equipped luxury vacation rental, we call Casa Sierra chalet. It is the perfect place for rekindling that special relationship, spending time with friends, with the children, or with multiple families.
Elegantly appointed throughout with striking Native American artwork, the spacious living room/dining area features a striking red Vermont wood burning stove and soaring 20 ft cathedral ceilings flooded with natural light from tall windows. Relax with a great BOSE surround sound system as well as Cable TV, DVD Cable "hotspot" for high-speed wireless and wired computer free internet access.
The elegant dining area invites sumptuous meals inspired by a fully equipped gourmet kitchen. The deck is lovely for breakfast amid the silence of towering pine and fir. An ample loft with fold out bed, extra TV/DVD, and books overlooks the living room.
Every tastefully decorated bedroom has a new queen bed with high quality bedding and plenty of extra blankets. This house is ideal for one or two families: with crib, twin bed, and queen bed in upstairs bedroom, washer and dryer? and much more. Great sledding hill on the property and golfing just five minutes away. Just ten minutes from a great beginner & intermediate ski hill, ten minutes to Donner Lake , and twenty minutes to Lake Tahoe . Also nearby you can enjoy white water rafting, kayaking, fly fishing, excellent hiking, world-class mountain biking or gain easy access to north shore world-class ski resorts: Squaw Valley , Alpine Meadows, Northstar, Homewood , Boreal, and Sugar Bowl. Casa Sierra is ten minutes from great shops and restaurants in the booming Gold Rush era mountain town of Truckee or quick easy access to the freeway for South Shore , North Shore and Reno casinos.
Our Guests benefit from guests rates for full access to the Tahoe Donner Homeowner facilities, including three pools & spas, workout facilities, two clubhouses, tennis and golf. Also a private beach club on Donner Lake including rental of boats, canoes, waverunners, stand up paddleboards, wind surfers, and pedal boats.
The spacious kitchen is fully equipped including a toaster oven, microwave, gas stove top, two electric ovens (one convection), coffee makers including french press, tea pot, mixer and, blender along with the usual pots, pans, utensils, dishes, glasses, etc.
All linens and basics (bar and laundry soap, dish and dishwasher soap, etc., as well as spices, vinegar, oil and so on) are included. There is also plenty of firewood on hand both by the wood stove and in the garage.
2 Night Minimum -
o Fall and spring rates: $195/night or $1050 a week.
o Winter and summer rates: $ 250/night or $1,500 a week
o Christmas, New Years & President's Week: $1,850 a week
o $150 set cleaning/hosting fee
o $300 Damage Deposit fully refundable after satisfactory inspection
