Enjoy your mountain getaway in this peaceful home built in 2006 with "green building" techniques. The home lies on nearly 5 acres of private naturally landscaped wooded property. Discover the hiking available at your doorstep through the numerous hemlocks, poplars, and rhododendrons. Hike down to the creek for some fishing, rock skipping, or exploring.

Back home on the patio, listen for the sounds of the creek running by, make a fire in the outdoor fire pit or simply relax and enjoy the fresh air and mountain/wooded views. You can also unwind in the 5 person private outdoor hot tub just below the patio, and off the lower level.

The home is 2,400 square feet on two levels, 3 bedrooms, 2-1/2 baths, and sleeps 6 people in beds. We have 2 king-size beds, a bunk bed, and a futon sleeper in the den. Your getaway is perfectly clean and well appointed with all new furnishings and decorated with local artists paintings and photography. There are 2 flat screen TVs with DirecTV including a 40” LCD television with a Bose theater surround-sound in the living room. Also included is broadband DSL wireless internet access.

The home is perched over the beautiful Rocky Fork valley of Fairview, which is the home to the prestigious Cliffs at High Carolina development and the future home of Tiger Woods first North American designed golf course. It is conveniently located 10 minutes to the Blue Ridge Parkway, 15 minutes to Asheville, 20 minutes to Black Mountain and 30 minutes to Lake Lure and Chimney Rock.

Child friendly with bikes, games, and some toys provided. Pets are allowed with prior owner approval and deposit. Please, no smoking.
