We have attempted to create a peaceful place for our family to vacation in the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area, (Wears Valley) next to the Smokey Mountain National Park. I think we have been successful. This is our escape from our fast paced life in South Florida. We invite you to share our home and we hope you become a repeat guest.

The "Gristmill Get-a-way", is a beautifully decorated, 2100 square feet, three bedroom/three bath log cabin located in an upscale community at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac. Plenty of stuff to do in the house, but we encourage you to use this as your base, to explore everything the area has to see, and there is truely something for everyone. You can be in Pigeon Forge within 20 minutes. We are close enough to all the attractions, (Dollywood) but just far enough removed for the quite of the mountains. Perfect for your 2 family summer vacation, watching the leaves change, spending a unique Thanksgiving/Christmas, or a family reunion, and we have even had our first wedding on the deck!

Our unique home features three floors, each with its own bedroom, with TV, bathroom with shower and/or tub, ceiling fan, night stands/chest of drawers, and separate area with a pullout couch. Each King and Queen size bed is made of real logs, and each room is tastefully decorated with photography taken at Cades Cove. The lower floor features a regulation size pool table, wet bar, private outdoor hot tub, Dartboard, and big screen TV. A great place to watch your favorite football team. We also have a gas fireplace,on the main floor, and an electric fireplace upstairs in the master bedroom. All 4 cable access TVs have either VCR, DVD or both. We also have a stackable washer & dryer. Our upstairs loft contains a growing number of books and games. We recently upgraded and now we have DSL access, you need to bring USB or ethernet cable.

Also a main feature is our two story 1500 sqaure foot, wrap around deck with a huge covered area, making this home seem much, much larger. The main floor deck includes a large covered area with 6 rocking chairs, an octogon shaped picnic table for outside dining, and a gas grill. Perfect for sitting in a rocker and listening to the rain off the tin roof. The lower deck has the private hot tub, picnic table and porch swing. Email for more pictures.

Now for the details:

**RATES: January 1-May 31 ($150/nt), After Memorial Day-12/31 ($200/nt), October & Holidays ($225/nt). Holidays include Easter/Spring Break, Memorial Day, 4th Of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years and the day before and the day after each holiday.

** AVAILABLE DISCOUNTS:
1)Rent 6 nights, get the 7th night free.
2)10% off to fellow Law Enforcement Officers, nurses, and teachers 3)Additional 10% off if rental is made within 7 days of stay.
**PAYMENT:
Visa/Mastercard/Paypal accepted. Also take personal checks (must clear).

*$200 security deposit required, sorry no exceptions. Will be returned as soon as we verify no theft/damage. (allow 1 week). *Sorry, No pets or inside smoking.
*2 night minimum off season, and 3 night Holidays or October. $100 cleaning fee for stays under minimum. Note: This is what we paid our maid service.

* Church/civic groups welcome. Under no circumstances will more than 10 persons be allowed to stay. Note: neighboring house also available for larger groups.
