Enjoy a quiet week (or more) at this 1950's cottage tucked into a garden setting in South Laguna Beach. Located just blocks from the popular West Street Beach and several more secluded coves, it is within easy walking distance of 5 excellent restaurants, a sandwich shop, a walk-up Mexican food café, the local Village Green Park, and a Tram/bus stop to downtown Laguna Beach or the nearby Montage Resort area.
The completely furnished beach retreat, perfect for couples or families with young children. The cottage is semi-attached to the main house but has its own private entrance and garden. It is a large studio/suite with two multi-functional rooms that sleep up to 4. The front room has a day-bed with trundle and the "sun-room" has a Queen size, pull-down wall bed. Please note that there is no privacy door between the two areas. If you enjoy cooking, there is a well-equipped kitchenette with a GE Monogram 2 burner cook-top, a counter-top oven, microwave, dish-washer and plenty of pots and dishes. Add to this the convenience of your own washer/dryer, an ample closet off the front room, a bar-b-que on the patio, and one off-street parking spot.
This is a perfect spot to serve as headquarters for beach days, enjoying the Art Festivals in summer, taking hikes in the hills, or exploring the sights of Southern California. Laguna Beach offers lots of fun shops and art galleries, some of the worlds most beautiful beaches, scores of restaurants, and a location half way between Los Angeles and San Diego, both of which are little more than an hour away by car.
