Our condo at Compass Point is newly remodeled, with hardwood floors, granite countertops, tiled laundry room, wine fridge, white cabinetry. The floor plan accommodates gatherings or separate activities. The new, spacious kitchen is well-equipped. Gather in the great room or around the large table in the dining area with a bar/buffet. Catch the breeze on the screened lanai enjoying a lush tropical view. Appreciate upscale décor, Pottery Barn, Ralph Lauren, and custom furniture.

Compass Point is a beautiful and well-tended property conveniently located to many of the island’s shops and activities. Just steps from the condo, past the emperor palms, are the heated pool (Jump right in!) and the blue-green waters of the Gulf (Take the short boardwalk over the natural dunes and sea grapes). Miles of natural, white beach greet you, with some of the island's best shelling right at your doorstep.

Sanibel attracts visitors from all over the world to its renowned shelling beaches and wildlife preserves. It is a lush, tropical island focused on conservation. Guests can become part of the scene by hiking, biking, paddling, or riding through these preserved natural areas. Formations of pelicans, osprey fishing, dolphins leaping, alligators sunning. Golf, 22 miles of paved bike paths, great restaurants in all categories, day trips on the water. Lots more for fun and relaxation. And still, not one traffic light on the island!

About The Owner

We have been visiting Sanibel through timeshare since we were married in 1984. In 2005, Compass Point became our home away from home. We love long walks on the beach at sunset, shelling at low tide, watching the pink spoonbills gather at dusk, cycling the island, kayaking, dining on fresh fish, and wine and cheese Happy Hours on our lanai. We fall into the rhythm of Sanibel and truly relax.

We chose Compass Point because the complex is smaller than most, and quiet. The location is ideal!

What makes this condo unique

One treat for us is that the pool here is heated. Not too warm, just enough to be immediately comfortable!

Relaxing, Off Season Vacation Gem

Lovely condo. Well equipped. Nicely and comfortable furnished including well placed reading lamps.
Delighted to be there off season as it could get noisy with children, parked cars, and pool games when condos are filled.
Owners were quite helpful in terms of island/shopping information.
Would definitely consider staying there again off season.

Simply Perfect

We stayed at Bev & Bill's unit last week and we could not have been more pleased with the accommodations. The unit is beautifully decorated yet very comfortable so that we did not have to run around fearful that our two young children would harm anything. The beds were incredibly comfortable and everything (both inside and outside of the unit) was very clean. The unit is steps from both the pool and the beach. The storage unit had plenty of beach necessities such as beach chairs, an umbrella, beach toys for children, and boggie-board type things. The kitchen was well stocked with plates, cups, pots, pans, and silverware. Overall, it was a wonderful spot and we can't wait to go back!

Dwelling is very nice. Owners were very pleasant and helpful over the phone. Plenty of space and ocean front..the beach was not even very crowded on spring break. The nearest public beach was far enough away that there wasn't many additional people. We found tons of shells.. My daughter found a whole sand dollar ...what a find. Pool was perfect..entire complex was nice and with only 2 buildings it wasn't over run with people. You can cookout with the nice gas grills and at shufeboard while you wait. Condo has everything in the kitchen including a blender for margharitas! A small supply of dish soap, laundry soap, paper products were there... Very nice. We brought our bikes and stored them in the owners storage locker... That was super! They have beach chairs and umbrellas too. Did I mention elevator... Again, very nice. My wife and I are long time Sanibel Winter residents who have rented at different locations.

We just finished a 3 month stay for the second year in a row at this Condo (Sanibel Palms) in Compass Point, We found this unit filled all of our needs for a long stay with ample storage space and very comfortable surroundings. The kitchen is very well equiped, fridge with filtered water and ice from the front, and even a wine cabinet My wife really liked having a seperate laundry room....The unit is near the elevator and right accross from the very nice heated pool that has plenty of shade and sun all day long in addition to a very short walk to the beach.....The price of this unit is well below the beach front locations and is very quiet and comfortable.....Enjoy!!!!!
