Our family has been boating for years and have dreamed of getting a second home on the water. This year we finally realized that dream and purchased the cabin in Logsdon Landing.
Clifton and Darra Dukes purchased this cabin in 2011
We purchased this cabin at Nolin Lake because it is a beautiful lake that is perfect for water sports.
We enjoy tubing and wakeboarding with kids and sitting by the fire, roasting smores in the evenings!!!!
We loved everything about this cabin!! The firepit, music on the back deck, seclusion and beautiful views! The decor is perfect and everything you will need is available. Plenty of room everywhere here. We brought firewood and fishing poles with us. Great time and great people! Thank you!!
Wonderful cabin for our girls getaway weekend. We loved the fireplace and kept it going the whole time we were there although it would have been nice to know that we needed to bring our own wood.
Everything else was well appointed. We especially liked that the living room had plenty of comfortable seating for us all to hang out together - a must that is missing in many properties.
My family and I met at Logsdon Landing to celebrate Christmas together. The cabin is great and very user-friendly! Plenty of room for everyone including the dog. The grandkids and this grandma went hiking two days in a row. They had fun climbing on the rocks. We hunkered down the last two days when the weather turned cold and rainy and had a wonderful fire. I would recommend Logsdon Landing to anyone. Thanks Darra and Clifton for renting your home to us.
This was a great location for our family to meet and celebrate Christmas together (including the family dog). I was surprised to arrive and see a beautifully decorated Christmas tree and wreaths "waiting" for us. The cabin was very clean and was very well-supplied. We loved the fire pit. The quiet solitude and peacefulness of the area were refreshing to all of us. We hope to return again! Thank you, Duke Family, for sharing your home!
Our family of NINETEEN (yes,19 with children and plenty of room for more!) had one of the greatest time together. The place is very spacious and homey. The pics on internet do not do justice. The cabin had character. It was a small 5 minutes walk to the lake (10 minutes from :). The place was clean and smelled of natural elements. We definitely recommend it and considering on staying longer days next year!
Stayed there for four days and loved it. Quiet private property with 4 bedrooms, three baths and a great overall home. Clean and crisp..visited the corvette museum and mammoth cave while there. Loves the country roads and scenery.. great fir pit.. camp fires every night. Had to hunt for our own wood. . Beautiful! .. from plainfield Illinois. .
