From bustling downtown Asheville, drive 5 min. into Chunns Cove (between Town Mtn. Rd. and the Blue Ridge Parkway) to find Woodhaven, a cottage nestled amongst the trees on the side of the mountain.

Wildflowers in the spring, flowering rhododendron, wild blueberries in the summer, and gorgoeus foliage in the fall, this is a quiet retreat for 1-5 persons.

The gated deck wraps around on three sides and provides a tree house "feel" to the cottage.

Centrally-located for all of Western North Carolina, day trips are easily planned to Chimney Rock Park/Lake Lure, Biltmore House, Smoky Mountain National Park, Mount Mitchell, Banner Elk, and Grandfather Mountain. Asheville, Hendersonville, Black Mountain and other small towns provide ample shopping excursions. (Dancing Bear Toys, a specialty toy store & our family business is five minutes away and welcomes playful folks of all ages!)

The area abounds with festivals, live music, theater, etc.

The cottage has available maps, bird books, brochures, and personalized suggestions for dining/activities are available at check-in.
