GREAT STAY

We stayed at Klein Shore for 3 nights late July. While it is an older home, it's extremely well kept, super clean and stocked extremely well. My wife loves to cook and made homemade lasagna while we were there. We brought with us multiple spices for the dish, and it turned out most of it was already there. We've rented several places all over the country and this is certainly the most stocked of any place we've seen! The outdoor decking was great. There is a huge deck upstairs and about 15 steps down to the water (kinda steep, but nothing dangerous) where there is even more decking. There is an area below that's right on the water and is shaded nearly all day! If you want sun, you can get that down below too, out on the dock..where there are 4 or so more chairs. Or you could stay up above and lounge there in the sun there as well! The decking is priceless! If you have a boat, there's a slip for that as well. The water is very deep off the pier, but we floated every day right off the pier. It is on the main channel but we didn't feel we were in danger of boat traffic while floating! Overall, a great stay.
Location could be a con or pro depending on your taste....it's not right on the main drag (Central) but with the bypass you are only 7-10 minutes from all the shops/restaurants off Central. That being said, there are a couple places to grab a pizza out near the cottage, and I'm sure multiple places would deliver! The area is nice, but not the nicest we've stayed. But who cares, once you are on the water, it all looks the same! We will be back...hopefully for a longer stay. Thanks Pam for a great stay!
Oh, and it's a great place for pets too, and is all fenced out the front (toward lake). So we could let the dog out and not worry about him venturing off!
