This really is a Laguna Beach Gem
My wife and I discovered this wonderful property while vacationing in the area last year and immediately booked it for August 2011. Perched almost at "Top of the World" it proved to be even better than we had remembered. Photos don't do justice to the magnificent canyon and ocean views from almost every room and can't convey the serenity you feel when you enter the house through the gated garden (which our wire fox terrier quickly claimed as hers). The house has a great floor plan which easily accomodated our daughter and her family who joined us for two weeks, it was very comfortably furnished and superbly equipped. We called Wendy, the delightful owner, who had to awaken the Maytag repairman to fix one of the two, yes two, washers. When we spoke, she asked if either the hanging flower baskets in the courtyard or the live orchids in the house needed to be replaced. We've rented through VRBO many times and never been asked if it's time to replace the orchids. This really is a Laguna Beach Gem.
