Beautiful, all wood, two Bedroom, two bath, vacation home in one of the best locations in the popular Tahoe Donner Resort subdivision of Truckee. Fantastic all cedar interior. The house is in on a quiet street but has great access and is only a short walk to the Trout Creek Recreation Center. At Trout Creek, Tahoe Donner guests can use (for a fee) the swimming pools, hot tubs, exercise room, sauna, and steam room.
Tahoe Donner offers a wide variety of recreation depending on the season including its own small downhill ski area (great for kids and beginners), a large cross country ski area, tennis, boating, and an equestrian center. The major local ski areas (Squaw Valley, Northstar, Alpine Meadows, Sugar Bowl) are within a 20 minute drive. The location offers easy access to I-80 and Truckee but has a peaceful quiet setting. Reno is about 35 minutes away (weather permitting), Lake Tahoe is about 20 minutes away.
The house and furnishings are in great condition and are recently updated. The interior has solid wood walls and ceiling that gives it a very nice ‘mountain’ feeling. The woodburning stove in the living room adds to the ambiance. For summer use it has a large deck equipped with a gas BBQ for relaxing and entertaining. It has good sun exposure to the West but is set in pine trees.
For winter use we provide a snow removal service clears the driveway daily if it is required. There is parking for several cars and a garage. The house has force air gas heating run from city gas (so no propane tank risks). The kitchen is fully-equipped with range, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, food processor, expresso maker, dishes, cutlery, as well as a variety of cook and bake wear.
For electronic entertainment we have cable, a 32in flat screen TV,VCR/DVD and Sony PlayStation 1. Wireless broadband for the internet is provided as well. You can listen to your CDs on the stereo while you relax by the woodburning stove.
Sleeping accomodations: Queen in master, lower full and twin upper in second bed room. One full sized futon in living room. Two roll away single beds.
