1,500 square foot comfortable & tastefully decorated first floor unit is tucked in a quiet corner of the mountains with only a short drive to many attractions. It was designed to satisfy the comfort of many type guests.....families, seniors (HANDICAPPED ACCESS - 2 steps to front door), romantic interlude or a refreshing getaway.

Just 2 steps to the front door of this fresh, clean & well maintained unit. Cathedral ceilings in great room & kitchen. Meals are enjoyed on the deck or kitchen overlooking mountains (kitchen deck access). Master bedroom (deck access) with queen bed & master bath jetted tub/separate walk in shower. Queen bed in 2nd bedroom, trundle (2 single beds) in 3rd bedroom. Great room sofa has an innerspring queen sleeper which is truly comfortable. Unit has heat pump/air conditioning & ceiling fans in all rooms.

Our location is easy access to Asheville-15 minutes north, Hendersonville-15 minutes south. Biltmore Estates-15 minutes & shopping in Biltmore Village, also Asheville & Hendersonville shops & local galleries with unique local artist's creations, antique shops, golf courses, whitewater rafting, poet Carl Sandburg National Park, DuPont State Forest with spectacular waterfalls & hiking, Appalachian Trail, Chimney Rock State Park, Lake Lure boat tour with "million dollar view," Grandfather Mountain, Western North Carolina Arboretum, kids enjoy Asheville's Fun Depot, Sliding Rock (slide down huge rock in stream) - fun for all, Mount Mitchell State Park-southeast's highest peak, Brevard - land of 1,000 waterfalls, Cherokee Indian Village & much more. The view is just as beautiful as you described & location was perfect for our outings - Biltmore Estate, Chimney Rock Park hiking, NC Arboretum, Flat Rock Playhouse. We took Iris' advice & had wonderful meals at South Side Cafe & Frankie Bones. This home made it easy to leave the worries behind & renew our energy. We hope to return again soon!
