A Piece of Hawaiian Paradise

If you are looking for a peaceful and relaxing place to rejuvenate your mind, body, and soul, look no further. This home and its location couldn’t be more perfect. The view is absolutely stunning. The neighbors are delightful. The locals are so friendly and we’ve even made some friends that we’ve kept in touch with there. The spirit of Aloha is alive and well!
Mornings are amazing. Whether you get up early for an easy jog along the rolling coastline, watch the spectacular sunrise while sipping on some Hawaiian coffee, or maybe a little of both.
During the day there is so much to see and do….the possibilities are nearly endless. Our personal favorites are Volcano National Park, snorkeling in the tide pools, Hilo Coffee Mill with their Saturday Market, and Sirius Coffee Company in Pahoa. Of course, mixing in relaxing days of walks on the lava beach, down to the black sand beach, and reading or resting out on the patio listening to the waves crash in are a must! If you happen upon the occasional cloud burst, be sure to watch for rainbows. We’ve never seen so many in one place!! And the landscape…this island is beautiful!!
Evenings have a magic of their own. The sunsets are gorgeous. The stars are so amazing!! We love to cook at the house (the fresh papaya tastes GREAT in salads or fresh salsa!), enjoying the meal over candle-light with the music of ocean waves crashing in…or maybe some Hawaiian tunes playing. Books, games, movies, visiting into the night before heading off to bed.
Best Coffee and/or Smoothies: Sirius Coffee Company (in Pahoa), Hilo Coffee Mill
Best Food: Kalapana Village Café, Hilo Coffee Mill
We absolutely love it here and recommend it without hesitation! It’s always hard to come home.
Warning: You’ll want to move here ?.
