Villa Muraia takes the name from the position in which is found, on the boundaries of surrounded of the medieval suburb of Radicondoli, extraordinary country from the landscape point of view that historical, where is still possible anchors to breathe true reception and true Tuscany's tastes. Ideal destination to visit the near places of world interest as St. Gimignano, Volterra, Siena, Florence. Perfect for lovers of the Trekking, of the Mountain Bike and of the tennis, distance only 50 Km of the sea village of 'Punta Ala' and 'Castiglion della Pescaia'.

Just restructured, the residence offers a calm and a convenience without equal. In fact, despite is located in full historical center, it is surrounded by a park of over 1000 mqs in which an ample orchard extends, completely fenced for assuring privacy and comfort to our guests. The entry is independent and the villa is endowed with reserved parking .

The interior are characterized to two distinct areas , both provided of double room and bathroom, that reunite in the principal hall where a new kitchen is found equipped with oven and lavastoviglie. The ample glass door that leans on out the surrounding panorama, draws a picture in the zone living in which our guests can be relax in front of the fireplace, with couches, tv and hi-fi.

From the splendid glass door we goes down in the terrace where is possible to dine or only drink a wine glass a beautiful postcard panorama where, on the clear evenings, the eye lost on the Cecina's Valley and Val d'Elsa's Valley , up to Volterra and San Gimignano.

You can't lose the sunset's moment when the lights of the near suburbs ignite, and everything becomes magic.

What makes this villa unique

Descending amongst woodland and through parched brooks, then slowly upwards again along the hedgerows. You could hear the flutter of a bird escaping in fright. On occasion you could hear a trill piercing the air, then silence almost at once... [Dina Ferri, Radicondoli 1908-Siena 1930]

Beautiful Villa In the Heart of Tuscany

We just returned from our stay at the Radicondoli Villa. It was an ideal location for exploring Tuscany;; close to Siena, Cianti area and within 30 minutes of Florance. We were 2 couples and the bedrooms each with a washroom next door was so great. The villa has an open, airy feeling and it is well equipped for cooking. Marina was very helpful when we had questions and the tourist office in Radicondoli help us plan may day trips. The Terrace and the view are outstanding. We spent many an hour watching the sunset over a Tuscany and could see as far as Volterra on a clear day. I would certainly recommend this villa to a friend. Nancy from Toronto Canada

I rented Villa Muraia for 2 weeks in June and found the experience to be all I expected and more. The overall design of the property is something you would not usually find at the rates Villa Muraia is rented for.The interior furnishings are basic but attractive, functional and well chosen for the property.It is the quality and design of the renovation of this property and the luxury materials, textures, colors and fixtures used that make this property exceptional in its price range.Overall it is simply beautiful with a terrace and view that cannot be found in properties rented for double , triple and quadruple the price of this villa.As others have commented Radicondoli is a great base to tour Tuscany from and a warm ,embracing authentic Italian hill town.I hope to return for another visit in the future.

Idyllic Setting in Tuscan Hills

Lovely cottage in a beautiful Tucan hill town. The villa is fully equipped, clean and comfortable. Great views from the terrace. We were two couples and there was plenty of room. All the amenities are available in Radicondali. A great base for exploring Tuscany by car. A wonderful part of the world to visit, you won't be disappointed.

We visited Tuscany in April 2011 and stayed 6 nights in this villa in Radicondoli. It was everything we'd hoped for and more. The setting is fabulous. The terrace looks out on the hills of Tuscany with towns in the distance. The house is lovely. Each bedroom suite has a beautiful bathroom. The living room/dining room space is great with a working fireplace. We had a wonderful time exploring the towns around Radicondoli and looked forward to returning to relax and enjoy a beautiful sunset and glass of local wine. The view was magnificent and the town was friendly and quiet. Thanks Marina , we had a wonderful time and would definitely stay here again.

As you know we had a wonderful time exploring the area around your little piece of heaven in Tuscany. What a perfect place to come "home" to after a day of exploring. Beautiful views, nice apartment setup, and great little hill top town. Loved the people of the town, they were all so helpful. Hope to come back one day and visit again...
