Photos and Description of the Guaynabo vacation rental
4 Bedrooms, 3.5 Bathrooms, Sleeps 10
Dorado Beach is famous as a Laurence Rockefeller resort developed back in the 1950's, and has been ever since one of the premier tourist destinations in the Caribbean. Dorado Beach features 4 Robert Trent Jones designed golf courses, numerous tennis courts by the ocean, a gym, themed pools with waterfalls, zip lines and a rubber floored children's pool and of course the spectacularly beautiful beach areas.
From an interesting historical context, in earlier days a lady aviatrix named Clara Livingston whose family owned the area used to entertain her good friend Amelia Earhart here. Amelia left Puerto Rico in June 1937 to embark on her second and final flight attempt.
In memory of both of them we have named the nearby park , Livingston Park ( 100 yards from the house ) which is complete with an old design landing strip replete with blue landing lights, which highlight this historic site, an air traffic controller tower for the kids with even a replica airplane hanging in the hangar. Take an evening stroll through the park and listen to the distinctive Puertorican "Coqui" tree frogs as they serenade you. or just enjoy the ocean breezes from our Lanai and watch the wild and native Puertorican Parrots fly by.
Our Beautiful Beach House is located in a private gated community w/ 24 security patrol. The kitchen has been upgraded w/ subzero appliance and a wine cellar, glass top cooking range and much more. We have 3 Bedrooms (King in Master, 1 Queen and 2 Full) and they each have their own private bath, the 4th bedroom is a study w/ a sleeper couch adjacent w/ access to the Master Bathroom. You will have access to our golf cart for use inside the community. We have a gym, a lavish Pool room Lit tennis courts, and community pools just yards from the house. Walk or ride golf cart to beach.
