Our child-friendly house is centrally located, sunny and quiet. The house is situated in Hopferau near the famous castle of Neuschwanstein and it is the ideal starting point for many activities throughout the year. These include: cycling/mountain bike touring, hiking, mountain tours, go sightseeing, cultural events, swimming lakes, in winter skiing, toboggan and all winter sports. The comfortable, spacious (90 m²) and lovely apartment is fully equipped with a separate, fitted kitchen, a dishwasher, an electric oven with ceramic elements, microwave oven, refrigerator/freezer, egg boiler, toaster, coffee machine and electric kettle. The cosy living room includes a dining niche, a couch suite, satellite TV and telephone. There are two or three bedrooms available with bedding (a crib is available) to help to assure a pleasant night’s sleep. The bathroom has both a tub and shower and includes towels. A splendid view of the Alps awaits you from the balcony and the garden has a lovely lawn.

Hopferau is a cosy little place near Füssen with many activities and cultural events, such as summer festivals, folkloric evenings, theatre presentations, Alpine horn concerts etc. The region includes Neuschwanstein Palace, Old Town Füssen (approximately 7 km) castles Frey-/Eisenberg , Falkenstein, Romantic Road, Via Claudia, Wieskirche (famous church), Hopferau Castle and much more. Neighbouring Austria (Tannheimer Valley, Tyrol) is just 20 minutes away. Worth seeing towns for excursions are Garmisch (and the Zugspitze - the highest mountain in Germany, it is 9842 feet high), Oberammerau, Lindau, Salzburg, Oberstdorf, Innsbruck or Munich. More famous castles in our region are Linderhof palace, Hohenschwangau castle or Herrenchiemsee palace, other recommendable destinations are th roaring Pöllat Gorge (near Füssen), 'Marienbrücke, Breitachklamm, Lechfall' , wild mountains and gentle hills, a rich culture and imposing nature and typical folklore.

Lage und Ausstattung der Ferienwohnung lässt keine Wünsche offen. Dazu eine liebe und immer hilfsbereite Gastgeberfamilie, was will man mehr. Die zwei Wochen Urlaub im August 2009 waren sehr erholsam.

Wir waren vom 12.-19.04.09 in der großen FeWO, 1.Stock, zu Gast. Die Wohnung ist in Wirklichkeit noch schöner, als wir es uns anhand der Fotos und der Beschreibung vorgestellt haben.

Die Ausstattung ist bestens und mit Liebe zum Detail, so richtig zum wohlfühlen.

Deshalb müssten wir eigentlich 5 Sterne plus vergbeben.

Dazu die netten und sympathischen Vermieter, Ruhe pur und der Wettergott war uns auch gut gesonnen.

Sehr empfehlenswert, für jung und alt, Lage sehr zentral, von hieraus kann man schöne Ausflüge unternehmen.

Die ausgelegte Infomappe vom Vermieter zusammengestellt, war sehr hilfreich.

Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wir waren mit 4 Erwachsenen und 1 Kind in dieser schönen geräumigen Wohnung. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit.
Uns hat es so gut gefallen dass wir uns sofort fürs nächste Jahr angemeldet haben. Viele Sehenswürdigkeiten und Badeseen sind in wenigen Minuten erreichbar. Sehr empfehlenswert !!
