It is a vacation apartment in the upper floor of a two-family house. There is one large living room with space divisor to the dining-room. The apartment offers 2 bedrooms. There is a double-bed in one bedroom, and a futon bed in the other bedroom. Also in addition, there are two fold up beds available. Bed linen and towels are included. The kitchen is equipped with electric cooker, and stove, a cooling and combined freezing cabinet and a dishwasher. You will also find a restroom with shower, and it is equipped with a washing machine. In the garden there is a sitting area with a table and benches offering space for 6 people. As well a Barbecue will be offered. The apartment is in a beautiful suburban area of Berlin, with its own garden, surrounded by nature and close to forests and waterways.

The apartment is in a beautiful suburban area of Berlin, with its own garden, surrounded by nature and close to forests and waterways. Shopping facilities (super markets, bakery, grocery, papers etc.) and restaurants are within 5 min. walking distance to the accommodation. The city is easily accessible by using public transport. You can take the Bus A222 to Tegel, which will need about 8 min. to get there, and from there you will need approximately 20 minutes either by using Metro or Underground into the heart of Berlin. Although Tegel provides many shopping possibilities including: Borsig-Hall (a small shopping mall), department stores, specialized dealers, as well as German and international restaurants.

Closer surrounding of apartment: Reinickendorf is the third largest district of Berlin and offers a very diversified view with forests and lakes, countryside and urban areas, energetic city centers and industry works. If you arrive by airplane you will most probably land at the Airport Berlin Tegel which is nearby. Berlin’s biggest airport combines the city with Western Europe and overseas. But Tegel is not just an airport. To the west of the old pretty village center is a very popular destination, the “Tegeler See” lake. It invites you to ramble or start from Greenwich promenade a tour on one of the sightseeing boats over the lake and on the river Havel or Spree. There you will pass at several islands and the “Freibad Tegelsee” , a beach with white sands inviting to take a bath.

About the district ot Reinickendorf : But Berlin Reinickendorf offers more sights and attractions. The “Borsigturm” tower on the former premises of the Borsig works is considered to be Berlin’s first skyscraper. Today close to the “Borsigturm” are the “Borsig-Hallen”, a Mall, a shopping-center within the reconstructed former Borsig works. Also interesting is the Russian Orthodox cemetery that was built in 1894/95 with earth that has been brought there from 50 different Russian regions. Between May and September the Tegel palace with its park opens its gates to visitors. The brothers Alexander and Wilhelm von Humboldt lived here when they were children and also found their last rest at this place. Reinickendorf characterizes by its contrasts. You will find villages and natural areas next to industry, old worker’s quarters and high building residential areas.

Amusement Park Tegel : At the Amusement Park Tegel children have a lot of fun. Access to the park is free and it is supervised from May to October from 9 am – 7 pm. In these months the park offers an adventure playground, numerous play things, Table Tennis or Badminton. Moreover you can rent pedal boats for the “Tegeler See” lake.

Im Oktober waren wir eine Woche in Berlin. Eindeutig zu kurz. Deshalb werden wir das im nächsten Jahr wiederholen. Gerne kommen wir dann in diese Ferienwohnung zurück, denn sie ist komplett ausgestattet, gepflegt und liegt wunderschön. Das Auto konnte die ganze Woche stehen bleiben, da alles mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln problemlos zu erreichen war. Nach einem turbulenten Tag in Berlin-Mitte, haben wir die Ruhe hier sehr genossen. Ein wenig Schade ist, das in der Wohnung geraucht werden darf, aber das wussten wir ja vorher. Die Vermieter waren nett und zuvorkommend. Also, alles im allem, eine runde Sache.
Owner's Response: Unseren Gästen in der Ferienwohnung einen angenehmen Aufenthalt zu bieten, ist unser großes Ziel. Wenn uns das gelingt und wir durch die Feriengäste die Bestätigung bekommen, sind wir glücklich.
Wir werden immer bemüht sein, dass sich unsere Feriengäste bei uns wohlfühlen.

Eine sehr schöne ruhig gelegene, große Wohnung. Wir haben die Ruhe nach den Stadtbesuchen genossen. Wir werden bestimmt noch mal wiederkommen, denn Berlin hat noch viel zu bieten. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und helfen gerne weiter. Ebenfalls stimmt das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.

Seit einigen Jahren gehen wir regelmäßig im August in die Ferienwohnung Konradshöhe. Wir sind immer wieder begeistert von der Wohnung, dem wunderschönen Grundstück mit alten, hohen Kiefern und von den freundlichen Vermietern. Es ist dort sehr ruhig und es ist alles vorhanden, was wir benötigen. Die Verbindung mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln Ferienwohnung - Berlin und Umgebung ist gut. Man erreicht zu Fuß die Havel und Alt-Tegel bzw. den Tegeler See.
