TIGER RUN RESORT
This gated community is centrally located right off of Hwy 9, just 3 miles north of downtown Breckenridge. It is approximately 85 miles from Denver, by interstate.
PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION
A free bus service passes right by the resort and travels throughout Summit County. It offers easy connection to all of the area ski resorts of Breckenridge, Keystone, Copper, and A-Basin. Ski season began Nov. 7, 2009.
CHALET ACCOMMODATIONS
This chalet is our home away from home, and we hope you’ll want to come and enjoy this resort style living. It offers over 726 sq. ft (not including the loft) of mountain comfort. It is brand new and features custom window treatments throughout. Of course, it is completely furnished with linens and the kitchen is completely stocked with cook ware, dishes, utensils, and glasses.
Colorado Room: Because this chalet is a new model, the floor plan is much different than other chalets in the resort. This Colorado room offers comfortable living for up to 4 people. The large windows looking out to the magnificent 10-mile range makes this room a great place to relax.
Kitchen & Den: As you step through the interior sliding door, you enter the open floor plan of the den and kitchen area. The 11-foot ceiling, with five clearstory windows and a ceiling fan, gives this area a comfortable spacious feeling. The den offers a queen-size sofa bed (Simmons Beautyrest mattress). By comparison, the kitchen is quite large and the black appliances (full size gas stove, microwave and refrigerator) are all new. There is a small TV on a swivel that can be viewed from either the kitchen or den.
Loft: The loft is accessed by a staircase in the den. It offers two twin beds to accommodate 1-2 people for comfortable sleeping.
Bedroom: Back on the main floor, the bedroom features a comfortable bed with a queen-size, pillow-top mattress. You can warm the bed before climbing in with the new electric blanket. The high ceiling features a ceiling fan with wall switch controls. You’ll find wonderful closet space with an 8’ length of hanging space and great shelves reaching the full height of the ceiling. Below, there are 4 large drawers for extra storage. On one end of the room, there is a bay wall with windows on either side of a door leading outside. This extra space creates a roomier feel.
Bathroom: The bathroom offers a spacious countertop. Storage in the vanity, includes under the sink storage as well as two large drawers on the side. And, the cabinet over the commode gives bonus storage. The large mirror makes it easy for two people to get ready at the same time. The tub has a glass enclosure and a large corner wire shelving for toiletries. The toilet is a tall, elongated model. A hair dryer is stored in one of the vanity drawers.
Decks: The chalet has a covered porch at the entrance with unobstructed views of the beautiful mountain range and sun sets. The rear deck runs the full width of the unit, and has a wonderful view of the 10-mile Range. The section outside of the bedroom is covered while the section outside the Colorado room is not covered.
Snow Removal: The Tiger Run Maintenance Crew is diligent about snow removal on the blacktop roads and sidewalks throughout the resort. However, renters are responsible for snow removal on the rental property itself (parking spots & porches).
Other: Grocery stores are nearby, outlet malls and a movie house in Silverthorn, one of a kind shops in Breckenridge and 6 miles north in Frisco, and outstanding restaurants everywhere.
