Cabin, 3 Bedrooms + Loft, 2 Baths, (Sleeps 6-7)

Cozy mountain house nestled under a canopy of trees and alongside a running stream. A wrap-around deck with rocking chairs and outdoor dining table provides the perfect spot to rest, relax, and reconnect. A quaint, quiet get-away in the Blue Ridge Mountains. This cabin is halfway between Boone and Blowing Rock in a gated community with 24 hour security.

King sized bed in the master suite, which also has a private patio. 42' plasma TV and wood-burning fireplace in the great room. Complementary WiFi provided. Bedroom #2 features a queen sized bed; Bedroom #3 has two twin beds and a sleeping loft.

No motorcycles allowed in neighborhood.

Purchased for weekend getaways from the hustle and bustle of big city life. Within easy driving distance of home, but offers an experience that is truly transcendent.

What makes this cabin unique

Peaceful and quiet, the cabin provides a break from the heat and high humidity of Charlotte summers. An amazing place to watch snow fall while nestled in front of the warm fireplace. Summer activities include hiking area trails or just walking the neighborhood, playing in the park in downtown Blowing Rock, or horseback riding. Winters are spent skiing, shopping, and snuggling up.

We are so grateful to this family for allowing us to use their home. The owners are attentive and send information anticipating your every need. There is 24 hour security at the gate. The grounds are beautifully kept. The house itself has all the charm you would want in the mountains with the modern day convieniences we don't want to give up. My family of 5 and 2 large dogs had plenty of space and enjoyed cuddling up next to the fireplace. The view of Grandfather Mountain was a bonus! We can't wait to go back and hope to stay here again soon!

Fun with the family!

We just spent a fabulous weekend at this cabin - 2 little girls and 2 big dogs in tow. My girls loved the children's room - the house was spacious and comfy, plus close to everything! We had fun at Tweetsie and at the Halloween festival in Blowing Rock. Plus, my dogs loved taking walks through the neighborhood and we enjoyed having them with us. We are looking at making a trip back to get our Christmas tree. The owners were so easy to communicate with and the sheet they gave us prior to checkin gave us all the information we needed. Thank you!

This is a great secluded place to get away from it all. We enjoyed our five-night stay immensely. It's well-maintained and well-stocked. Boone, Blowing Rock and the Parkway are only a few minutes away. We've been going to the Boone-Blowing Rock area for nearly 40 years, and this ranks as one of the very best places we've ever stayed. We definitely plan to come back and would heartily recommend it to others.

So glad I found this property listed on Vrbo.com. For the price we would have spent on a hotel room, we were able to rent this house in a private and peaceful setting close to all of our favorite places: Blowing Rock, the Parkway and Grandfather Mountain.
