On site: Within the four cottages 14 - 24 family members or a group can be accommodated and can share the wonders of east Hawaii. We will rent to only one party at a time for all homes. Our associates nearby have additional accommodations to accommodate up to 50 persons.
Each Hawaii-Style cottage is private, yet close to each other. We have hosted many Reunions and the advantage is that individual families can have their own unit, yet all can join at the Hale PaMa to eat and socialize together. Each cottage is a complete unit: comfortable; convenient; and fastidiously kept CLEAN!
We offer detailed self-guided 'Adventures' in order to maiximize your enjoyment while staying with us, and we can develop a Custom Itinerary just for your family or group, like the Waterfall Tour or the Valley Tour.
As our guest, we supply each unit with Hawaiian fruits, coffe and teas, breakfast items and other treats upon your arrival to 'welcome you to our home,' so you can enjoy your first breakfast without going shopping.
We supply 'Day Adventure Paks:' picnic box, cold packs, flashlights, boogie boards, portable chairs, unbrellas, snorkel gear and water jugs, so you can better enjoy each day's adventure.
If Needed: we have a high chair and play pen/crib available at no charge for your baby.
We have found Hawaii to be a magical place, and we want as many people and families to experience the joy we have found here. Our accomodations have been recently refurnished. They are clean, comfortable, and most importantly, reasonably priced - so the whole family can enjoy the beauty of our properties and explore the wonders of our island home.
Enjoy our botanical gardens with hundreds of flowering plants and tropical fruits to enjoy in season(bananas, papaya, avocado, white pineapples, star apple, jack fruit, mango, grapefruit, oranges, limes, lychees). Pick your fill of our fresh tropical fruits when they are in season.
We are 20 minutes to Hilo and 30 minutes from Volcanoes National Park. We are near the Kapoho snorkeling ponds, Geothermal Hot Pools, Jungle Road, Red Road, new black sand beach being formed, parking and a short walk to see lava flowing into the ocean, various beaches in Hilo, whale watching close to shore down by the cliffs 5 minutes away during their season,several golf courses, free use of telescopes at the observation center, tropical zoo and the ocean. Wonderful and inexpensive restaurants nearby (Hilo-25-30 min; Pahoa 15 minutes; Keaau, 15 minutes), and shopping. Nearest gas station and food is 7 minutes in Orchardland.
Four 'Hawaii-Style' vacation rental houses are located on our 2 acre tropical garden oasis in Hawaiian Paradise Park, 10 miles south of Hilo. The large studio (Hale Aloha) sleeps two to four people, a one bedroom (Hale Ki'ele) with vaulted ceilings that sleeps up to six people, a two bedroom that sleeps up to six people, and a larger two bedroom house which sleeps up to six. Each vacation unit is very private, yet close enough to each other.
Our homes are away from the bustling tourist areas. You'll go back to your home with a greater appreciation of Hawaii and its peoples, and spend far less money . . . when you explore from and stay here in one of our 'Hawaii-Style' cottages!
What is hard to describe, or picture, is the calming effect that our 'Hawaii-Style' grounds have on people. Everyone has expressed this to us; they just loved staying here; sometimes even expressing this with emotional tears in their eyes. Our units are not modern-new with granite and tile, but they are clean, fully equipped, newly furnished with new bedding, and . . . they have a charm about them that you will quickly come to enjoy.
