Condo, 2 Bedrooms + Convertible sofa bed + 2.5 Baths, (Sleeps 5)

This is a quiet, small complex with just six units, lovely sunsets, and a boat dock with access to the gulf. The dolphins and manatees are a common sight and are very friendly. The Lagoon and bay are great for kayaking, canoeing, and paddle boarding. The calm waters make it great for beginners to learn fast.

The shells at Turtle Beach just across the small Lagoon are spectacular and a great windsurfing beach just a few steps away. Turtle Beach, which is only a 5 minute walk from Cozy Cove, has a boat launch for the Lagoon/Bay. Crescent Beach, with it's soft white sand is also a bike ride away or a short car ride. The Key has beautiful water view restaurants and bars within walking or biking distance. Biking is excellent, all of the roads have bike lanes and we are at the end of Midnight Pass Road, with very little traffic.

This 2 story townhouse has been recently renovated and modernized. You can take a virtual tour of the condo at the web address listed below. We have a double balcony with great views of the lagoon, the pool and the Gulf. The living space is an open floor plan with a brand new 46' flatscreen HD/TV with BlueRay DVD. We also have WIFI. There is a wood fireplace and a sleeper sofa with an aero bed built into it. The master Bedroom is large, with a Simmons Restoration king-size bed, large closet, vanity, with its own private bath and a balcony great for morning coffee or watching sunsets. The second bedroom has two twin beds, with a view of the Lagoon, also a large closet. The full kitchen has new stainless steel appliances and everything you need. We have beach chairs/umbrellas for your use. The beach is a 5 minute walk from our condo. You can fish from our docks or watch for manatees. There is Parking for two cars, one of which is covered. The average winter temperature is 70 degrees and always a soft breeze. The sunsets are spectacular from the balcony or the beach!!!

You can rent a boat or kayaks at the marina which is within walking distance and really get to remote beaches. You can enjoy close up views of manatees and dolphins, with plenty of birds to see. Pink Spoonbills, grey Herons, Pelicans, Ospreys.

About Karen

We live in Philadelphia and have vacationed in Siesta Key for the last fifteen years and we always wanted to buy a property there and so the time came when it became possible. Now that we have it, We intend to share it with as many others as we can so that they can enjoy the beautiful town of Siesta Key.

The condo itself is all brand new inside. All new appliances, new furniture, it's bright, it's comfy. It's easy living. Along with that you have the views, the walks, the sand, the shells and the beaches, the pool, and direct access to the water for fishing, boating, kayaking. It's all very convenient.

This was our 4th vacation to Siesta Key and, as always, we had a wonderful time. The condo was clean, nicely decorated, and had everything that we needed. We walked over to Turtle Pub several times for drinks, dinner, appetizers...all were great. HAVE to go to Solorzano Bros Pizza (215 Avendia Madera in Siesta Key Village) for the best pizza and an overflowing greek salad. Of course the main attraction for us was Siesta Key Beach and we had several perfect beach days. We have stayed on the beach, across from the beach, on the bayside, and at Turtle Beach. All have their pros and cons but for the price and amenities, Cozy Cove was a good choice.

Great Relaxing Time at Cozy Cove

My husband and I stayed at this unit for a week and we couldn't be more pleased with our decision to stay there. The area is very quiet and relaxing yet walking distance to Turtle Beach and some restaurants and only a few minutes drive up the road into town. The unit is very nicely furnished and extremely clean and well taken care of. Had use of the owners kayak and enjoyed that as well as the private docks where we did some fishing. This unit is a great bang for your buck. Thank you!!!

A peaceful family vacation

My husband and 2 teenage daughters recently visited the Cozy Cove for a week in June 2012. We thoroughly enjoyed the spaciousness of the condo. The master bedroom was very large with a ceiling fan and a large patio with great views of the ocean in the distance. The unit was furnished beautifully, immaculate and had every amenity you could possibly want. Our teenagers enjoyed their own room and not having to share a bed. We all very much felt like we were at home for the week and hated to leave. The property owner Karen was always very prompt in answering all of my emails and provided helpful info about the Siesta Key area. The condo is within walking distance to a great little restaurant called Turtles right on the water. Be sure to visit the St Armands Circle area for great shopping and lots of restaurants! We also visited Busch Gardens which was about an hour away. I would definitely recommend this property to family and friends and look forward to another visit!!

Wonderful vacation at Cozy Cove

My husband and I spent the last two weeks of April at Cozy Cove and loved it. This townhouse is very tastefully decorated, spacious and two floors make it ideal for families. We especially enjoyed kayaking in and around Turtle Bay. A highlight of our stay was an afternoon spent touring Little Sarasota Bay on a boat we rented from the marina that is almost directly across the street. The area has a great vibe, with lots of cyclists, walkers and joggers, Turtle Beach a short walk away, an abundance of good restaurants, many with live entertainment, and beautiful sunsets. We will be back!

Nice Time was Had

Having just spent two months at this very comfortable condo, I can add to the accolades that have been mentioned by other reviewers. The 6 unit condo complex was perfect for meeting some nice neighbors but quiet in the evenings and nighttime. Three restaurants were within walking distance (from the mundane to the sublime), and others were but a few minutes drive away. The beaches were as advertised, and kayak rentals only a phone call away with delivery to the nearby launch area on the inlet. All the desired cultural events and ethnic restaurants Sarasota has to offer were 25 minutes or less away. The pool is not heated but there wasn't much need for it in January/February. In summary, this is a most comfortable and conveniently located condo.
