Discover our stylish west coast oasis amid a forest of firs and cedars, just a leisurely 5 minute walk from spectacular Flume Beach, with many other beaches nearby. Luciana's Retreat ... luxurious, romantic, relaxing.

This stylish 800 square foot suite has a private entrance, two bedrooms, two bathrooms and fully stocked kitchenette is decorated with a European flair, appointed with modern appliances and features top-of-the-line fixtures. King size, pillow top, super coil and ultra comfy beds. Outside your suite is a 225 square foot deck with your private hot tub, distinctive granite, gas-fed fire pit and comfy deck chairs. On the other side of your deck is a second luxurious bedroom with another comfy king size bed and en-suite bathroom.

About The Owner

Despite having spent most of our lives in larger cities (Genoa and Vancouver), Luciana and I both grew up in smaller communities and we absolutely love living on the Sunshine Coast of British Columbia. In case you hadn't guessed, Luciana is from Italy - Genoa to be precise, where she lived and worked before moving to Canada 2 years ago. Luciana is a professional linguist and is fully fluent in English, Italian and German. She also speaks French. I am an executive in the engineered lumber products industry and love living in an environment in which I am surrounded by trees!

Luciana and I chose to move to Roberts Creek for the peace, tranquility, clean air and easy-going lifestyle here. The people are so friendly and the scenery is absolutely majestic. We marvel at the beauty every time we walk out the door ... and there is just so much to do! If you have never visited the sunshine coast, you owe it to yourself to pay us a visit! If you are returning, we hope you will stay with us in Roberts Creek. Either way, we look forward to extending a warm welcome, making you feel at home, helping you fill your camera with magnificent images and doing everything we can to make your visit a memorable one!

A truly nice retreat

Our family (mom, dad, grandma, two kids one toddler one baby) stayed for two nights at Luciana's retreat and it was a very nice stay. We're frequent VRBO users and I can say that this is one of the best in all the places we've stayed. Tasteful design, very tidy and comfortable, great amenities like the hot tub and gas fire pit, and impressive attention to details. My only suggestion would be to change the description on VRBO website-- it says "2 bdrm from..." but the rate is for the studio suite only, so to take the whole 2 bdrm (studio + adjacent guest bedroom) the rate is actually 150%. I was a little taken aback at first when I found out that through inquiry. But I'm glad we still went ahead, it is really worth it! Thanks Luciana and Art, we look forward to coming back again!
