Bright, quiet and well equipped south facing one bedroom condo in “The Reef”, one of Victoria’s most desirable buildings situated in the fashionable and historic James Bay area, one block from Fisherman’s wharf, two blocks from the Dallas Road Ocean front walkway. Our modern but cozy getaway will welcome you from the moment you step through the door with beautiful views of the Olympic Mountains, Sooke Hills and the Georgia Straits seen through the floor to ceiling windows or step out on the 150ft deck and feel the warmth of the sun and refreshing breeze. Cook up your favorite recipes on the professional gas range or barbq the day’s catch (that you pick up at Victoria’s best fish market situated right out your front door) on a modern, full-sized grill on the patio. Our condo is on the quiet south side of the building facing the adjacent neighborhood and captures the full day’s sun and associated warmth and views.
Living Room: Spacious living and dining area where you can enjoy the wide range of digital entertainment available on our 42” TV/PVR and stereo system. If you need to keep in touch with the outside world via the internet on your laptop, there is secure, broadband wireless internet access everywhere within our condo for your convenience.
Kitchen: Equipped with modern, stainless steel appliances including a professional gas range, a refrigerator equipped with filtered water , quiet dishwasher, and a built in microwave. The kitchen also features a coffee maker, toaster, blender (with food processor attachment), and a garborator.
Master Bedroom: Equipped with Queen size bed, flat screen TV, end tables, 2 dressers and walk in closet.

We are from Calgary, AB and we both work full time. Recent empty nesters, our grown adult children live near by. It's a good thing we love to travel as work requires it and it takes us away from home often. So when we travel for pleasure, the quality of our stay in a place is often dictated by the quality of our accomodation. We like and need a comfy place for some R&R. We spend a few weeks per year in Victoria at the condo and we love it here! We like to golf and we walk a ton. Victoria is great for both. We may retire here someday. Calgary is 'home' though and if you have never visited there, you should make it a 'must see' destination. It's a great city!

We bought a vacation rental at this location because of the high quality of the building, the great location, the wonderful views of the ocean and mountains, the southern exposure and the fact that this unit is located on the quiet side of the building.
A very modern and warm condo with all of the amenities to provide a very relaxing stay. Whether you like to stroll by the water or watch a movie curled up in front of the fireplace; go out for great meals in nearby restaurants or cook your own on a professional gas range and/or BBQ on the deck; this cozy nook is close to everything and has the amenities to make your stay a relaxing and stress-free experience.
Much to our amazement the weather cooperated for the most part. What a great building. The condo was so "homey". Our neighbours the Fish Guys were great. Thanks for everything and the fruit!
We really enjoyed our stay in this apartment. Booking and payment was very smooth. Francis picked us up at the airport and took us the scenic route into town and allowed us to pick up supplies. He was very friendly and a fony of interesting and useful information. The apartment is in a very nice building with good security. We were welcomed by a basket of fruit and a fantastic view. It is very nicely decorated and very comfortable. The kitchen was extremely well equipped and had a pantry with more spices than we have a home. Large flat screen TV and comfy couch in front of a fireplace. Large balcony with great sunsets. Location is perfect-just across a park from Fisherman's Wharf. Great walks to Ogden Point and downtown along the sea wall. Supermarket and wine store 15 minutes walk. Bus right outside and a great seafood truck and store next door. Thanks for allowing us to stay.
Great location, nicely appointed, fantastic view of cruise ships, mountains, water. A great spot for a short term visit or someone out most of the day. For longer stays or a place to relax during the day, I found the power-washing at the fish place next door a real bother, able to hear it in the condo and very loud while sitting on the balcony. The owners were very understanding about my issues with this and have said they will see what can be done. Aside from this one issue, this condo is a good base from which to enjoy all that beautiful Victoria has to offer.
Lovely, lovely, lovely! Your condo was in a perfect location! It allowed us the option to walk downtown, to the grocery store or to the ocean in a matter of minutes. The kitchen was well stocked with the basics and the view from the balcony was everything we had hoped for. Even the weather was agreeable for the week we were in Victoria. The next time we are in Victoria, we hope your condo is available for us to book again. Thanks for everything!
We loved this condo! It was a warm, inviting space located in a great place for us to enjoying the sights of James Bay and downtown Victoria. It had everything we would need - the kitchen was fully stocked, the bed was comfy, the TV, PVR and wifi were fully functioning and appreciated, and we even were able to use the beautiful balcony and BBQ on the sunny days we had! Thanks for creating a wonderful homey condo for us to use, Leslie and Roger! And thanks for the warm welcome from Francis (and your fruit basket!) - both gave us a great start to our perfect stay!
Very nice condo in a second to non loation. We really enjoyed our stay in May 2013.This place has every thing you need in a home. We Highly recomend this place.

We highly recommend this VRBO. This condo has everything needed in a home away from home, including a really comfortable bed. During our 6 week stay, we especially loved the spectacular views and the walks along the seawall and the harbour. James Bay Square, with its coffee shops, restaurants and excellent grocery, was an easy 10 minute walk. We felt very safe in this historic neighbourhood but did enjoy having secure underground parking on the rainy days. Thanks Roger and Leslie, for our 6 week "retreat".
