Cabin, 3 Bedrooms, 2 Baths, (Sleeps 6)

This is a beautiful Antique three story log cabin in a wooded wildlife preserve. It has a large wrap around covered porch with a real stone wood burning fireplace. There is a Jacuzzi tub on bottom level and a hot tub located outdoors. There is a covered parking place under cabin for Motorcycles. This cabin has three king size beds one on each level. It is perfect for multiple couples. Bathrooms are located on main floor and bottom level. There is central air and heat and all stainless appliances. fire wood is furnished only for winter. 2 night minimum stay, 3 during holidays and the month of October.

We come to Gatlinburg 4-5 times a year and this is our favorite neighborhood to stay in.

What makes this cabin unique

We love the privacy of Deerskin Lodge and the mountain feel of the house itself. We also love to walk the neighborhood and enjoy all the beautiful views. The location is great too, 5 minutes back to Gatlinburg, 10 to Pigeon Forge. If traffic is bad you can drive down to the visitor center, park your car, and take a trolley to town. We love all the good restaurants. Most of all we love to go to the Park and hike and drive. There is a back road out of neighborhood to 321. We have a notebook at the cabin with lots of tips and directions to great hikes, restaurants, drives and things to do to make your stay better and more enjoyable.

The neighborhood that Deerskin Lodge is in is called Timberridge. If you leave out of the driveway and take a right, keeping to right and follow the road to the right up and around a curve and several hills; it makes a really nice walk. It is not for the faint at heart but will reward you if you make it to the dead end of the road and then take a short walk across the woods in front of you and up the hill. One of the most beautiful views of Mt. Leconte we've seen. There is a visable, but little used trail up to top of the hill. Stay on Jess Field Rd. all the way to top.
