All the comforts of a luxury home with the extras of a world class resort. Located on a large private property in the Palmetto Dunes Resort Plantation, this four-bedroom home sleeps up to 11 people comfortably. It is the best of both worlds... a short walk to the beach and quiet privacy with incredible views at home. The house is located on the widest part of the 11-mile lagoon. From the house, yard, pool, deck, patio or dock you look out over the water and the green fairway of the Robert Trent Jones Golf Course. A private dock on the property enables easy access to boating, fishing and crabbing on the lagoon. As our guest, you also receive 2 free hours of tennis each day at the Palmetto Dunes Tennis Center.
The large pool is screened in two-stories high to a cathedral pitch for BUG-FREE swimming day and night, and can be heated upon request. For added convenience, there is a walk-up wet bar in the pool area and an intercom system throughout the house and outdoor living areas. This bright and sunny home has lots of space, is beautifully furnished, and fully equipped. No pets or smoking, please.
The home's huge great room is perfect for gathering your whole group, it has a big fireplace and overlooks the pool, lagoon, and golf course. A bright and elegant living room also has gorgeous views of the private yard and lagoon. All your home entertainment needs are met with five TVs, two VCRs, a DVD player and two CD stereos. Outdoors you will find lots of decking and patios with lounges, chairs, and tables, a screened-in heatable pool, heated outdoor shower, and a personal dock.
The master bedroom has a king-sized bed, and a wall of windows for beautiful views and access to the deck. The bathroom is complete with a jacuzzi tub and steam shower. The other extra-large bedroom (second master) has a king-size bed, two twin beds, and a private bathroom. The remaining two bedrooms are bright and beautifully decorated, with a queen-size sleigh bed in one room, and an upholstered queen-size bed in the other. They share a connected bath, and a half bath is available across the hall. A daybed is also in the fourth bedroom for extra sleeping space or lounging.
For meals, the extra large kitchen has bar seating and a bumped out dining area. It is fully equipped with all the cooking utensils you will need. For more formal meals use the dining room, or go casual by firing up the gas grill and eating on the patio or deck.
The Palmetto Dunes Resort boasts plenty of sports opportunities. The Palmetto Dunes Tennis Center (ranked among the "50 Greatest US Tennis Resorts" every year since 1975 in Tennis Magazine and ranked #5 in the "World's Top Tennis Resorts and Camps" by Tennis Resorts Online) has 25 courts for day and nightime play. Exhibitions, clinics, lessons and junior camps are all available. Our guests have 2 free hours of tennis each day. For golfers, Palmetto Dunes boasts 5 championship golf courses designed by Geroge Fazio, Arthur Hills, Robert Trent Jones, and Robert Cupp. Several other fine courses are alos in the local area. The Golf Center offers clinics, lessons, golf schools and demonstrations for guests.
Shelter Cove Harbour is a 200-plus-acre marina in Palmetto Dunes that has lots of shopping, dining, entertainment, and ocean boating opportunities. Jump on your bike and explore the island, the marina, the beach, and nature preserves. Hilton Head has great outlet shopping, water sports, dolphin watching cruises, and fun for the whole family.
