This is our second visit to Mike's condo. When my kids found out we were going back they were thrilled! They consider Duck Key their favorite vacations! There are a lot of condos on Duck Key - you can rent from the hotel or from VRBO. But it's hard to know what you are really getting sometimes, b/c the pictures can be deceiving. Not with this condo - it is immaculate, just as shown in photos, and in a great location. Mike is the nicest guy - such a helpful owner and really knows the area - even sent me brochures and maps before we arrived! The kitchen is well-stocked with everything you need, newer appliances and nice dishware. There is a nice dining area that leads to a living area with nice couches and a flat screen. Out the sliding doors is a covered patio with another dining table. Then there is an uncovered area with palm trees, plants, chaises and a jacuzzi spa! We spent every night in it - it fits about 5 people. You have a nice view of the canal, and boats go by all day long which is fun to watch. There is also a boardwalk along the canal that you can walk on that leads to the hotel. Otherwise, there is a tram system that circulates around the resort every 10 minutes or so. So convenient!
The bedrooms are upstairs - master is so nice, with flat screen and attached bathroom. The second bedroom has two twin beds and flat screen. There is a second full bath in the hallway.
The hotel itself is great - nice pools, dolphin experiences, sandy lagoon, etc. At night there is a bonfire and a guy that sings and plays guitars. Just clarify with owner as to the access to hotel.
There is SO much to do within a 15 minute drive once you leave Duck Key. Marathon, Islamorada, Grassy Key have great restaurants, activities and beaches. You will NOT be bored! It's so laid back and tropical down in the Keys, and water views are everywhere!

My husband and I came down for an extended weekend to celebrate our anniversary, and it was everything we could have imagined and more. The accommodations were excellent! Very clean and comfy. Everything you need is there, even a welcome basket! Will definetly stay again. Thanks for making our anniversary a memorable one.

We were very impressed with this place - very clean, great decor and layout, and a great base for exploring the Keys, fishing and a very comfortable and quiet place to relax in the evening. The listing and layout were very accurate, and the owner was very helpful and responsive.
