The décor is local island-style, with lots of rattan, ten foot ceilings and ceiling fans in every room. Both bedrooms are air conditioned. The birds are everywhere cooing and whistling, you are tucked away under tall swaying palms and tropical trees, open to the western sky and great sunsets.
Or just grab a beach chair, and walk down to the water to watch the Maui sunset. The quiet beach is lovely and suitable for little children as well as great diving further out for adults. It extends for miles. Take the ocean kayak out and paddle around for a look at the turtles and coral, and whales in season.
The rooms are airy and cool with high ceilings, air conditioning, and ceiling fans. Cable TV, phone, washer and dryer, and dishwasher, two televisions, VCR/DVD, wireless internet AM/FM CD player, hair dryer, microwave, blender, and other appliances all make it feel like a home away from home. The 2nd bathroom with shower & vanity is at the bottom of the back steps next to washer dryer and snorkel equipment.
You have also found chairs, mats, cooler, boogie boards, and beach towels for your beach excursions. Lots of off-street parking, covered carport..convenient, quiet and private! Now you are ready to have a real vacation.

Historical Information:
The unit is 750 sq ft plus the large wrap around lanai, designed to fit with our Craftsmen style home, built in 1926 by HC&S for their Kahului Railroad Sugarcane Train manager WIlliam Walsh. The house has been lovingly restored, and is a one of a kind historical connection to the old plantation days. The Plantation Bungalow was built in the same style in 1992 to match the big house, with 10 ft ceilings and a large covered porch.

This is a very large corner lot, large mature hedges, shade trees and palms surrounding the property make it all private and secluded, while being close to all beaches and shops.
