Finding a cabin that sleeps 12 comfortably for this price is rare indeed. Suders Big Cabin can easily and legally handle large families or two-family groups. Plus few cabins have so many 'fun' things to do inside (see below for list). We are inspected annually and registered with the city.

Our BIG cabin consists of four bedrooms and three bathrooms and also a laundry room. The cabin has a large fully equipped kitchen, a dining room, and living room. We have all the things you need for a great hassle free vacation. Lots of pots and pans, stainless steel and granite in the kitchen. Each bedroom has warm, cozy bedding with decorator touches in each. There is also a two car garage. Enjoy your time in the separate game room with a full size 7' pool table, stereo system and DVD player. We have many TV's throughout the house. Want more fun? You'll find an old-time pinball machine, a Foosball table, and an air hockey table available for play.

Outside there is plenty of wood decking with a gas BBQ for outdoor cooking, and a nice warm spa to take away your stress which seats 8 adults. This cabin is right across the street from the lake. Walk down the street for public lake access, where you can go fishing or just admire the beauty of Big Bear Lake. This cabin is within walking distance to the 'Village', where you can dine, shop, go bowling, or see a movie. Ski slopes are a 5 minute drive from the cabin about 2 miles away.

Rates already discounted: We have lowered our rates to 2002 levels. These lower rates are truly a great deal for this is high-end home with tons of amenities.

Sleeping arrangements - Three bedrooms have queen beds, and the fourth has two twin size single beds. There is a queen futon bed in the family room, and two roll-away beds in closets of two of the bedrooms and a queen sleeper sofa in the living room. We accept house-broken dogs in our home as well. Our nominal pet fee is a lot less than you would pay for boarding. Sorry - no other pets allowed.

Fresh Linens and towels included - Our cabin is professionally cleaned prior to your arrival and fresh linens and towels are provided. We also supply shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. WIFI? Of course and phone service.

Why Darla Suder chose Big Bear Lake

We wanted a large cabin so that we could bring the kids and their friends. This house was a perfect fit for us. We can enterain our friends and the kids can shoot pool, watch TV or just be in another area of the house. Everybody has a lot of space and we can hangout together too.

What makes this house unique

The layout is perfect for doing many different activities, games, TV, eating, etc. We can walk to the lake or Village and we do not need a car. We can have a large group of friends or family and we are never crowded or have to sleep on the floor.

perfect cabin for a big bear get away!

My friends and I usually go to big bear every snowboarding season, and stay in a cabin in Big Bear. This was by far the best cabin stay I have ever had in Big Bear.

The cabin was very welcoming, comfortable, and very spacious! There was everything we absolutely needed; it was great! Cooking was made super easy for us. The appliances were up to date, there were plenty of pans, spices, utensils, and a BBQ.

Everything is so conveniently close! We sat at the lake, walked around the town, and enjoyed the Big Bear Brewery. We also were only five minutes away from Big Bear mountain which was a plus.

We especially enjoyed the BBQ and hot tub after a day of snowboarding! Cant forget about the fun we had with pool and foosball ;) Such a relaxing get away! Perfect for a handful of people to big groups! This cabin is in such a great location for any season up in Big Bear.

Thanks for an awesome stay in your home! I would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a fun get away in the mountains! Myself and my friends all enjoyed our weekend stay!

Excellent vacation

We were 5 adults & 5childrens and we were plenty comfortable, we really enjoyed the family room and all the rooms and facilities that It has.The cabin is on a great neightbourhood and very closed to the lake At 10 minutes to the summit resort. I recommend this excellent cabin They make us a great vacation.

Our January Snow Weekend

My family and I had a great weekend in the Suder Cabin! It was a perfect location for the group that we had - which ranged from little ones to teenagers to seniors. Everyone was able to do exactly what they wanted to without having to drive very far. The cabin was very comfortable and accommodated our group of 11 very nicely. The pool table, pinball machine and jacuzzi were great 'extras' to have available to the kids!!! Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Awesome Christmas 2012!

Darla, thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us! Your home was exactly how your pictures depicted it would be. The location was awesome for everything we needed or wanted to do. Close to shopping and skiing. Your home was very neat and clean; beautifully decorated. It was nice of you to share some of your personal family touches with us. We had no questions for you as you provided detailed instructions and directions for everything provided in your home. What made it special was being able to bring our two dogs, Riley our wonderful Golden Retriever, and Kisa, our wonderful Rhodesian Ridgeback. Having them with us relieved us of what surely would have been on our minds in wondering if they were being well cared for at home. Being a pet friendly property is a BIG PLUS for us! Together with the big dogs, our family of 12 still had plenty of space for all to comfortably enjoy our stay!

We had take out from Maggio's, Paoli's, and for Christmas Dinner - Jasper's Smokehouse. All were very good. I would highly recommend Jasper's Smokehouse as the food was fall-off-the-bone awesome!

Some of us went skiing, some of us went for a nature walk or shopping, some of us enjoyed your spa and playing pool, and all of us enjoyed just relaxing at one point or another during our stay. Having Cable and Wii-Fi were a plus! We even got to enjoy waking up to it snowing! Unfortunately, it was the day we were leaving, but it still gave that extra touch to our Christmas 2012 vacation!

Again, thank you for sharing your home with us. I would definitely recommend your home to our friends!

We had a really great time at this cabin. I especially appreciated the updated and large kitchen, living and dining room where we spent most of our time. The location is also great - close to Vons, the lake, and skiing
