A Beautiful Townhome Retreat
Review Submitted: August 13, 2010
Date of Stay: June 2010
Our four-day stay in Savannah at the end of June was a delightful and memorable experience, made more so by the lovely place we chose to stay. Whippet House is a gracious, inviting, beautifully appointed townhome--hard to pry ourselves away from and lovely to return to after a day of adventures. We lacked for nothing to make us comfortable and well cared-for. Marie has thought of everything, down to the helpful suggestions of things to do and places to visit, which helped us to make the most of our somewhat limited time in Savannah. The property's location, convenient to Forsyth Park and trolley stops, yet just enough removed from the hustle and bustle of the city, was ideal for us, and the private, off-street parking is a terrific amenity. We have recommended Whippet House to several of our friends, and will definitely stay there again when we return to Savannah.
