Surprised my husband with a weekend get away to Charlottesville. We love coming here, primarily to go wine tasting and stock up on some great Virginia wines. This cottage is perfect for a couple's get away.
Glenn, the owner, has done a wonderful job of restoring this house and providing a quiet place to relax.
He left us the makings for a nice little breakfast in the morning which was very thoughtful, no need to rush
out in the morning so you can enjoy the great sun porch with your coffee. We have now found the perfect
place to stay Charlottesville and you walk to the historic downtown area! When word gets out, we may
have trouble get a reservation!

Five Star Retreat

My husband and I spent three nights at Folsom Cottage, while exploring Charlottesville and the surrounding area. The location of the cottage was perfect (we could walk downtown when we chose to), the place spotless and the owner left plenty of provisions for us to make breakfast daily. I cannot say enough about the enticing decor, which prompted me to take the time to relax in the many exquisite locations at my disposal. All in all our stay was superb!

A Relaxing Place to Call Home

I stayed at Folsom a few weeks ago for a weekend getaway to C-ville. The cottage was spotless, comfortable and homey. The decor was outstanding! My favorite spot was the sun porch for breakfast and sunset. Easy walking distance to downtown and easy access to the highway. The wonderful host left me the makings of a delicious and healthy breakfast and provided great tips about the town. I hope to return soon.

This cottage is absolutely beautiful, truly one of a kind. Uniquely decorated as well, it is located in a wonderful residential neighborhood within walking distance of the historic downtown mall with shops and restauants. The owner is an amazing person. I have rented homes for years but have never found such an amazing and personable owner who made every detail of the cottage and our stay memorable.
