Pattie Gibson, Owner
I received my Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Education (Business) from Arizona State University in Tempe and my Doctorate in Education from Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff. I have owned my own computer training and consulting business and have worked in the business world for IBM and Gillette Corporation. My extensive instructional experience includes teaching post-secondary learners at both community college and university levels and delivering appropriate course instruction in computers, business, office education, and educational administration using face-to-face, hybrid and online delivery modalities.
As Dean of Instruction at Coconino Community College (CCC) in Flagstaff, I was responsible for all academic affairs in developing the newest community college at the time in Arizona. In addition, for three years while overseas prior to my CCC experience, I served as Department Chair and Lead Instructor for the Business Management program at Central Texas College–Europe both in Berlin and in Southern Germany/Northern Italy. Upon return from Europe, I taught at Arizona’s Yavapai College, Rio Salado Community College, North Phoenix High School and Flagstaff High School.
I love to write and have written 7 textbooks over the past 20 years in the areas of Administrative Management and Customer Service as well as numerous published journals articles. The 3rd edition of The World of Customer Service is my most recent textbook. As an author and consultant, I have made in excess of 50 major presentations across the United States covering issues that have influenced and reformed teacher education.
I currently live in the Denver area (during non-snowy times) and in Mesa (during non-too hot times) with my husband, Ric, who is also a professor and I have two grown kids--both of whom make me very proud of their individual accomplishments and zest for life!
I bought this property in 2000 and have used it personally for my two kids when they went to ASU and for myself during especially busy times in my life and after life events that turned my world around.
I have always felt peace upon entering the condo. It's small enough to be intimate; yet, big enough to have guests and friends over and fun times. I love it and feel good to be able to share it with those of like mind. I want my guests to really enjoy their stay and have a great time in the Valley of the Sun.
An easy walk and less than 3 blocks from the New Chicago Cubs Spring Training Complex in Mesa's beautiful Riverview Park.
