Beautiful home plenty of room will be back.

The Home was beautiful. we had about 12 people in our group and it was more than big enough. we did not even use the guest house which was like having a second home attached. remarkable view over the lake. if the sun rise was not so early in the morning i would have watched it. Convenient supermarket just up the road and it was trout season. The only problems we experienced were in the game room. pinball table was broken during our stay, skiball machine did not keep proper score, nor did the air hockey table score board work. also it rained the day we arrived and i am not sure if it was because of the rain or being on the water but there was a huge amount of flies outside. but that is not the owners fault. made use of the basketball/tennis court. and the house really has everything you need. including rackets, basketball, pump,etc. Great bbq to help feed your family. and if you have kids everything is kid friendly. including children rooms, rafts, etc. amazing house and will be back as soon as we can. Magnificent!!

Perfect Weekend

Rented this house for a weekend so we could get together to celebrate my brothers’ 50th birthday. This is probably the nicest house I have ever seen! Everything in this house is big, gorgeous, and user friendly. The kids kept busy with ping pong, video games, and air hockey. Even though it was off season, we all had plenty to do and the local antiquing and dining are exceptional. It was very cold outside but the house is warm and cozy. There are even throw blankets on the big easy chairs to snuggle up. I will not comment on the views because others have. All of them were right! But nothing beats the sunrise over the 10 miles of lake you see. No matter how much or little time you spend at this house you will never forget your experience. Everything is top of the line from the magnificent granite kitchen to furniture. We had a wonderful time. It was a great birthday for my brother and a great experience for the entire family that we will always remember. Five stars for sure. Six stars if I could. George Lorenzo

A great house for large families

This property is fantastic, especially if you want to host a large group (at least 12 people) under one roof. The kitchen, dining, and living area are very open and great for hanging out, and the bedrooms are well placed for great views and privacy. We stayed in the winter and didn't get to use the tennis court or lake docks, but they look like a lot of fun.

There were a few issues, like a spotty/misconfigured WiFi router and lack of simple amenities like kitchen towels, but otherwise our stay was great.

A few tips. (1) Bring bottled water for drinking and coffee, as the tap water is from a well and as such has a noticeable strong sulfur taste. (2) Try to wake up early at least one day to watch the sun rise over the lake. (3) The closest IGA supermarket has most anything you need, including good regional beer and good produce, so you might not have to bring much.

Thanksgiving Weekend

This was an amazing weekend, the house is in an ideal location and close to everything that you may need for a Thanksgiving weekend with family and friends.
The bedrooms are many and very comfortable a spacious, large living room and kitchen make it so easy and pleasant to wake up in the morning with a cup of freshly brewed coffe while enjoying a beautiful lake view.
We had a great time and I give this retreat a 5 star rating. And, don't get any ideas because I am taking it for next year again :)

Could not be nicer

We rent a beauttiful house once a year for our famly get to gethers. And try to pick an off weekend. All prevous housse we have rented have been sort of run down, old furniture, dirtyish, and a bite depressing. This house is the exact opposite. Everything is cheerful, vibrant, and upbeat. Like brand new. We love the quality furniture, the Hi-def TVs, knick-knacks, just everything was clean, support people friendly, and wonderful. We loved this amzazing house and location. and so will you. Be usre to have a car. Alexandro
