This is a very special place. Unlike any rental we ever had before, this is the cleanest, most well kept, and beautiful house. It is well furnished and feels like a home, not a rental. The inside is impeccable. The views cannot be better. The amenities are the highest caliber. You will not be disappointed. Just be sure you have a car. There is no other transportation available.
Fantastic property! Had a wonderful family vacation for 15 of us----9 adults and 6 children. Home is very clean and well stocked. Boys room with the loft was a big hit So much so that the girls were a little disappointed that it wasn't theirs! The game room was a hit for all ages despite the broken pin ball machine and juke box, (the repairman arrived the last day of our stay). Plenty of refrigerator space to keep us stocked for the week and the views and serene surroundings can't be beat. I have to send a big thank you to our realtor and manager for having extra ramps intalled on the 2 deck leveIs so,that my WC bound husband could get outside to observe and participate in outside family activities. In fairness though, I have to rate this as a 4 star property for 1reason only and that is that the property is advertised as HCP accessible but is truly for someone who has limited mobility (can stand and go up a step or two). Despite the accessibility limitations we were able to make it all work because of my husbands excellent upper body strength and 4strapping sons. I am writing the following as an FYI for other potential HCP renters so that you can make a more informed decision as to how this home may or may not meet your needs. First of all, there is easy access to the kitchen, dining room, powder room, outside decks via the installed ramps and a sizeable bedroom. The bathroom in the accessible main floor bedroom can accommodate a narrow WC thru the door and at the sink and toilet but the tub/shower is not accessible-- there are no grab bars in the shower or around the toilet. Access to the house was only possible through the garage via a ramp we brought with us. Wheeling a wheel chair( and/or a motorized scooter) is very difficult to nearly impossible thru the gravel driveway. Since there's no elevator, access to the lower level game room was to go thru the garage, around the out side of the house and in thru the mud room. There is no WC access to the dock ----or the upper 3rd floor but that wasn't necessary. As I said, despite the limitations, we all had a wonderful time and I would definitely recommend 39 Boulder Point for large gatherings. You won't be disappointed!
The description of the home, layout and amenities was accurate if understated!
The property, home, everything about the rental was clean and well maintained.
Although we had no need of the property manager, we did have occasion to meet him - he was most friendly and helpful - l a wonderful gentleman.
We certainly would recommend this property to anyone interested in a wonderful vacation spot!
We enjoyed everything the property had to offer - the lake especially for tubing, swimming, paddleboarding and waterskiing.
The kids, all of us in fact enjoyed he "game room"
We had all of our meals in the house and found everything perfect for our purposes.
We had a wonderful week and hope to be able to return next summer.
We just spent 2 days here this Easter weekend. The description is accurate and I must say the property exceeded our expectations. We had 8 couples in our party and 10 children. The amenities include a tennis court, a well-stocked kitchen and a game room. Some of the bedrooms have gorgeous views of the lake. Four bedrooms on the second level, one on ground level next to the living room, 2 bedrooms on the lower level. There is a separate apartment with its own kitchen. We used the grill on evening to barbecue. It is very spacious and even with such a large party we did not feel cramped. The house is clean and well-organized. For the futons, bedding was provided in the closets and clerly labeled. We had two kids in the office upstairs, and two in the game room in the lower level. There is a beautiful fireplace in the living room and we got firewood from a nearby grocery store, as well as propane fro teh grill. We were not able to unlock the door to the storage space on the deck where most of the deck chairs were stored, but was not an issue given that not too many of us were outside at the same time. Overall a great experience.
My husband and I decided to host our extended family under one roof. We searched everywhere for a location. Then we came across this gem on a lake in PA. We decided to rent for a weekend even though it is winter. Wow, what a house! It’s as beautiful as the pictures show. The setting on the lake is about as good as it gets. Furniture and interiors are wonderful, like new, and the house was well stocked. We only left the house twice to go out to dinner. We enjoyed privacy and yet there was a lot on communal space. If you rent this house you will love this house and feel like a movie star for a few days. We did.
My husband and I decided to host our large extended family under one roof. First time we took a go at this. We searched everywhere for a location. Then we came across this gem on a lake in PA. We decided to go for it and rented for a weekend even though it is winter. Wow, what a house. It’s as beautiful as the pictures show. The setting on the lake is about as good as it gets. Furniture and interiors are wonderful, like new, and house was clean and well stocked. Amongst the game room, gigantic dining table, and many TVs, we never left the house except once to go out to dinner. It could not have been nicer. We each had totally private sits with had privacy and yet there was a lot on communal space. This house is simply a once in a lifetime experience. If you rent this house you will love this house and feel like a movie star for a few days. We did. You will be too!
