Photos and Description of the Labenne Ocean vacation rental

Our holiday cottage is located in a very calm and neat area on a 13,000 sq. ft. property with pine trees. The distance to the beach is 1,000 ft. A small shopping centre with supermarket, bakery, restaurant, snack bar and mini golf is about 1,600 ft. away. Tasteful and comfortable furniture. There is a large living-room with open chimney, a couch, armchairs and satellite TV. Dinette for 6 persons. 3 bedrooms with two single beds each. Kitchen with 4 ceran hotplates, 2 ovens, dishwasher, fridge with freezer, coffee machine, fruit press and toaster. Laundry with washing machine and basin. Bathroom with bathtub/shower, basin and bidet. Separate toilet. Large covered terrace on the southern side of the house with lawn furniture and easy chairs as well as an electronic grill. Bikes are available.

It is a small and quiet holiday resort on the French Atlantic coast with a very broad and miles-long sandy beach. It is located between dunes and the pine forest. Excellent surf spots. Many lakes in the surroundings. Labenne-Océan is particularly appreciated by families with children. The wide forests are ideal for hiking, running, biking and riding. Less than one hour by car to go to the Pyrenees and the lovely Basque country.

Biking: The region Aquitaine offers more than 300 miles of marked and paved biking trails. In addition to that, there are excellent biking opportunities in the wide pine forest and the poorly frequented roads inland.

Nature and lakes: Hundreds of rare plants and animal species can be observed in nearby nature resorts. Ornithologists will love these backwoods, too - just a few miles away from the beaches. The numerous sweet and saltwater lakes are perfect for wind surfers and children to swim, especially when the ocean might sometimes be too rough.

Golf: Since a couple of years the region has become a happy playground for golfers from all parts of Europe. Within 30 miles around Labenne-Océan are 12 golf courses out of which one, the Golf de Seignosse, has just been selected most beautiful course of France. Even professionals consider it as a real challenge.

Nach vielen Dänemarkurlauben(Kinder nun 11 und 13)-nach deren Meinung der allerbeste nun.Das Haus ist sehr schön und gepflegt.Garten und Terasse wurden aufgrund der teilweisen Überdachung permanent zum Essen genutzt.Einrichtungstechnisch aller vorhanden.Internet muss angemeldet werden.Fussweg zum bewachten!(super wichtig! wegen Strömung) Strand 6 Min.-kann aber auch gefahren werden(genügend Parkplätze vorhanden).Weg zum Bäcker und Zeitungsstand 4 Min.Strand sehr schön(wenn viele Urlauber da waren,dennoch nie überfüllt)-zwar 3 Bunker vorhanden-waren aber auch 1x als Windschutz und1x als Sonnenschutz nötig.Das Wetter war in den 2 Wochen bis auf 1/2 Regentag immer gut und nie zu heiss am Wasser.Tolles Surfrevier direkt neben dem Badebereich.Wellen von 1m-3m zu unserer Zeit.Alles leihbar für kleines Geld.Netter Kontakt vor und während der Mietzeit.Möchten nächstes Jahr wiederkommen.
