Stayed Twice and Were Very happy

We stayed at Lazy Lake over Christmas 2010 and Christmas 2011 for two weeks each time.
Both times, we found the house to be clean, well-stocked, roomy, comfortable and hassle-free.
The setting is on a small lake filled with Muscovy Ducks, turtles and other wildlife. The view is lovely and relaxing. The pool is nice, but like most Florida pools, winter swimming depends on the weather.
There is a great BBQ, bikes in the garage, a great TV and bunk beds in the second bedroom. Our kids call it "the Florida House" and found it comfortable and fun.
The neighbourhood is good. I ran most days and never had a problem. There is a Winn-Dixie and a pharmacy around the corner. Its a very suburban setting as is typical in Florida.
Some real bonuses for people with kids: the mall nearby is very kid friendly and a good place to burn off some energy. There is an amazing playground at the Dunedin rec centre with a first rate splash pad. Clearwater beach and the marine aquarium are an easy drive.
Basically, we stayed there twice for a reason. We were perfectly happy with what we found.
