Photos and Description of the Schliersee vacation chateau / country house rental

Our house has an absolutely quiet location in a park-like big garden, on foot of the Schlierseer Mountain. From one side of the garden you can see the foothills of the Alps. The north windows offer a wonderful view upon the close Schlier Lake (10 minutes on foot). From the large south terrace with covered seating place and from the bedroom balconies you have a beautiful view over the green area. The large living spaces (living room with open fireplace, comfortable library room with a panoramic view, dining room for 12 people, a workroom next to the kitchen) make the house be an ideal vacation accommodation for big families with children. The house accommodates 6 to 10 people. It has a wheelchair accessible, at-grade entrance and stair lift, so that even less mobile guests can freely move around. A house keeper can be at your disposal, on request.

Fischhausen-Neuhaus is located on the south-eastern side of the Lake Schlier, and it is an ideal starting point for summer and winter activities. The close Lake Schlier invites you to bath and to practice water sports. In the winter, the lake is almost always frozen, so that it offers a fantastic, natural skating rink. You can start your hiking trails in the surrounding mountains directly from the house. The skiing and hiking region by the Spitzing Lake can be easily reached by car or by bus.

Entertainment and culture: You can enjoy musical and theatrical performances in the Schlierseer Folk Theatre. The whole year through, you can there are a lot of festive events, from wood festivals to ‘Day of the Guest’, with big fireworks. This is an ideal starting point for excursions with artistic, cultural and historical destinations (such as: Muenster Fischbachau, Birkenstein, which is a place of pilgrimage, Ignaz Günther in Weyarn, Tegernseer monastery, Bad Toelz, Innsbruck, Salzburg, and the museums in Munich).

Ski: There is a close skiing and cross-country skiing region called Spitzingsee (ski lift, Valepper cross-country skiing runs), which can be easily reached by bus from Fischausen-Neuhaus. Further skiing possibilities can be found in Wendelstein and Sudelfeld. There is a large, well kept network of cross-country skiing runs from Fischhausen-Neuhaus, over Bayrischzell, up to Their Lake (about 30 km long), which will impress you.

Golf: There is a golf course in Bad Wiesse, by Tegern Lake, within 20 km. Tegernseer Golf Club Wiessee- Robognerhof, 83707 Bad Wiessee, Tel. 08022-8769, Fax. 08022-82747. 18 holes, driving range, April to November, founded in 1958, length for men: 5501 m, length for ladies: 4869 m.

Familien-Urlaub im Sommer - herrliches Ferienhaus!

Wir sind schon zum x-ten Mal am Schliersee und zum 2. Mal in diesem herrlichen Landhaus und kommen auch nächstes Jahr wieder hierher.
Kinder- und Hundefreundlich, großzügige Haus- und Gartenanlage mit herrlichem Blick und Abgeschiedenheit für unsere Gruppe (8 Erwachsene, 2-3 Kinder, 4-5 Hunde).
Hier fühlen wir uns wohl, großräumige Küche, viele Zimmer zum Schlafen, lesen undundund! Riesige Terasse und alles für Selbstversorger - einfach klasse!

Großfamilienfreundliches Urlauben

Wir haben das Haus Schoeller über Pfingsten für ein Familienwochenende mit 8 Erwachsenen und einem Baby gemietet und waren rundum zufrieden.
Ebenso wie schon unsere Vorgänger waren wir von dem großzügigen Haus und Garten sehr begeistert, für große Familien und Gruppen ist es ideal. Zudem ist es sehr gut ausgestattet, sehr gepflegt und sauber und auch die Besitzer waren sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Besonders positiv sind natürlich auch die frisch sanierten Bäder.

Wir haben die Zeit dort und auch die Landschaft rund um das Haus sehr genossen und haben uns fest vorgenommen, wieder zu kommen.

2. Besuch am Schliersee

Wir waren Anfang Mai bereits zum 2. Mal im Haus Schoeller, wie auch das erste Mal hat es uns sehr gut gefallen. Hervorzuheben sind die großzügige, ruhige Terasse, die gut ausgestattete Küche und die freundlichen Schlafräume.
Wir waren 4 Paare und überlegen bereits, auch für nächstes Jahr wieder zu buchen.

Ostern am Schliersee

Wir waren Ostern 2009 (Do-Mo) zu Gast un diesem sehr schönem Haus. Gleich zu Beginn sind uns einige Sachen sehr positiv aufgefallen.
- Ein sehr gemütlicher Wohnbereich, der in zwei getrennte Zimmer unterteilt ist und einen schönen und gut funktionierenden Kamin hat.
- Der große Tisch an dem alle sitzen können und essen sowie die Küche (inkl. Lagerraum), die alles bietet was man braucht (MIkrowelle soll kommen)
- Die großzügige Terasse und der schöne Garten.
- Der vom Wohnbereich separat gehaltene Schlafbereich. D.h. man konnte im Wohnbereich abends lange feiern, ohne das man die anderen im Schlafbereich gestört hat.
- Die ausreichende Anzahl an Toiletten und Bädern.

Kurz gesagt, wir haben eine sehr schöne Zeit in dem Haus verbracht und können es duchaus weiterempfehlen.

Als einizgen kleinen Mängel kann man erwähnen, dass die Türen im Schlafbereich nicht lautlos ins Schloß fallen. Allerdings soll dieses Problem laut der sehr freundlichen Vermieterin noch behoben werden.
