Located on 1 acre, home is single level with dining room, and great room. Great room has high exposed original tongue and groove ceiling with old pine walls. Great views of the Bay from the dining and living room. Three sets of French doors open onto the wrap-around screened porch for more views and bay breezes. A little cool at night; have a cozy fire in the fire place. Porch is excellent for dining, reading, relaxing, viewing sunsets, or gathering with friends and family. Plenty of parking space or just meandering about the property. Catch fish at the end of the dock or bring/rent a boat as Lemon Bay, Stump Pass, the Gulf of Mexico, Charlotte Harbor, Boca Grande Pass, Myakka River or Venice are all within a few minutes to an hour's ride in the Intracoastal Waterway.

Watch manatees, dolphin, osprey, eagles, fish and other wildlife from the dock. Dock offers fishing and boating; bring your boat/kayak or rent one. Beautiful beaches on Manasota Key are 5-10 minutes away. Venice Beach (Dog Beach), Siesta Key Beach and many others only a short drive away. Boca Grande the deepest pass on the West Coast is 30 minutes away. Shop historic Englewood, Venice, Sarasota, Boca Grande - all a 5-40 minute drive. Local theater in these communities as well as the Van Wezel performing arts center in Sarasota. Bring your clubs, so many golf courses to play. Airport access in Sarasota, Ft. Myers, Tampa/St.Pete. Busch Gardens in Tampa, baseball spring training in several cities nearby, The Tampa Bay Devil Rays at Tropicana Field in St.Pete, Disney World and Sea World all within a 2 hour drive.
