I am an Executive for The Television Bureau of advertising in NYC. I live with my wife and two young boys in Brooklyn. We discovered the beauty of the Cooperstown area several years ago on a family vacation. I am very committed to providing you the best service available and answer all your question in a timely manner. It really means the world to hear from guests about a great experience they had at the property. I am committed to doing this for all.
We loved the natural beauty of the area and have always loved baseball.
I booked the apartment to stay while my son played (and slept) at Cooperstown Dreams Park, and I am glad I did.
First, Mike Bollo was extremely easy to work with. There were absolutely no problems booking the apartment. Mike provided excellent instructions to access the property and he returned my security deposit the day after I checked out. No fuss, no games, just easy accomodating business. Mike gets 5 stars.
The apartment does sleep 4 (two full beds.) It was clean and ready for use when I arrived. Sheets were clean, as were the towels and washcloths. I did not use the kitchen for anything but making coffee, so I will not comment on anything else. There appeared to be enough utensils and pots and pans to feed four. (Although, Mike, I would have 4 wine glasses installed.) The bathroom was small but absolutely clean and usable. Nice flat screen TV. Laundry below in the basement was fine, but watch your head if you are tall! In talking with other parents renting in the area, I deduced that this apartment is well above average for the area/price. This apartment gets 4 stars.
There are two drawbacks that Mike cannot control. First, as advertised, the cell phone coverage is negligible. Mike's WiFi and land line work fine, but until the locals demand a tower or two forget about your texts and calls. Also, the house sits on Route 205, which is a popular thoroughfare for cars and trucks. If you plan to leave for the day, no trouble. But if you plan on spending some daytime at the apartment, you will hear the road noise. You may want to consider Mike's carriage house, which is much further away from the road. So while the area is lovely and convenient for Cooperstown activity, I have to give it 3 stars. (I could manage the road noise, but since I was working during the week, really missed the cell coverage.)
Plain and simple, while there were two drawbacks, I would rent the same apartment. And I would certainly do business with Mike any time.
This property is the perfect place to stay for multiple families while visiting Dreams Park or All Star Village. The apartments are roomy and perfect for a family of four. Having the outdoor space for children to play is just what you need after a day at the fields. I have stayed on the property two times for both of our visits to Dreams Park and would recommend it to anyone. Michael is wonderful to work with and is always available to answer any questions or concerns.
I'm not into antiques or old-fashioned furnishings, so this apartment fit me like a glove. The interior is modern with hardwood floors. We had the 2-br bottom apartment. One br at the front and the other is at the back, separated by the living/dining area and kitchen. Gas range, full-sized fridge, flat screen with cable, wifi. Light sleepers should take the back bedroom because the house is set back from the state highway. I was in the front br and the highway noise didn't bother me - it doesn't get heavy traffic. The HOF is a leisurely half hour scenic drive away. The owner isn't on site but is responsive via email.
Tip: get your provisions prior to arrival because there isn't a store within walking distance.
We came for the Dreams Park experience with our son. This place was clean with great wifi and cable tv - really all we needed after a long day at the ballparks. Drive to DreamsPark was 15-20 minutes through gorgeous scenery and no traffic.
If you are looking for a relaxing, quite and cozy place to stay this is the one. My husband and 2 children stayed in this 2 bedroom apartment and enjoyed every minute of it. The beds are super comfortable and the apartment has all the comforts of home. My son had a baseball tournament at All Star Village for the week ,( 7/17-24) so this location was very convenient and only about a 12 min ride. It also had a laundry room down stairs which I found to be a big plus! We are already looking forward to next summer and staying in the same place.
We stayed in Roundabout D. The place was very maintained...inside and out. It was clean, up to date and safe. I had a question during the stay and the landlord responded instantly. The list of instructions that he emails you was very thorough. There were no problems nor concerns. I was very pleased, I would defintely stay here again and recommend it for anyone who is looking for arrangements Cooperstown Dream Park or All Star Village.
