Given the inexpensive affordability with this place, and compared to other rentals I've paid through this website, I was little skeptical about the nicety. When I arrived at the rental, (mind you after a 20 hour drive from Nashville) I was astounded by the exquisite decor and quality of the house. The beds were comfortable, along with the couches and the chairs in the living room.
My guests and I had a little issue with the front door, however, the owner was quick to fix the problem and we were grateful! Despite my flood of questions and calls as I settled into the home, the owner was gracious and willing to answer any of my questions with delight. Everything was clean and the bathrooms were impeccable. The upstairs bathroom was nice to walk into in the morning because of the ambient sunlight emanating from the skylight.
The game room was a nice touch, complete with a foosball table, a ping pong table, and I believe a pool table. The kitchen was complete with all the tools you need to cook with, however, you may need to buy food supplies if you plan to do a little cooking. You're in luck if you need to shop for groceries. There's a Walmart, King Soopers (a Kroger subsidiary), Whole Foods if you need to stock up for the stay. The house is in a very convenient location, about 5 minutes away from the mall and a plethora of restaurants and shops. Not to mention its also 5-10 minutes away from the interstate, which makes it convenient to drive to downtown Colorado Springs, Manitou Springs, Garden of the Gods, Pikes Peak, etc.
There are multiple tv's in the house making it easy to entertain everyone in the house at the same time. While there were people watching a movie downstairs and people watching tv upstairs, I was able to retreat to the bedroom and watch tv from the comfort and privacy of the bedroom. Plus there's a large collection of DVD's and videos, if you so desire to stay home and watch a movie.
Overall, we all enjoyed our stay. We (all 11 of us) traveled from Nashville, TN to attend a church friend's wedding in Colorado Springs and thoroughly were grateful to come home after a long day and relax at such a luxurious yet affordable house rental. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone that I know that is heading to Colorado Springs for vacation. If I came to visit again, I would definitely book this place again! I loved staying here and it truly felt like a home away from home!
