Visitors traveling to Nantucket Island by ferry- as short as 60 minutes by fast ferry from Hyannis - are easily impressed on entering the harbor by the Nantucket town skyline with its prominent church steeples and the often photographed Brant Point Lighthouse. For travelers flying into the Nantucket airport (ACK) clear days provide a panaramic view of the entire island.
Ferry service is also available to Martha' Vinyard for a quick visit.
