The tram line is 6 minutes walk away to take you Eminonu, Topkapi Palace, Sultanahmet and Grand Bazaar. We recommend you to walk this route also. Nature accompanying to the history of Byzantium and Ottomans. And the Istiklal Street, the most famous entertainment area of Istanbul is 5 minutes away. It is full of famous drink houses, bookstores, movie theatres, pubs, cafes, shops, as well as consulate palaces. Cukurcuma, the famous street of antique shops is very near. Our street is a lively one which is surrounded by cafes and restaurants. It's usually crowded on weekends even after midnight. We had hosted near 360 people from around the world since May 2009. Our history on accommodation business: We had started this business on March 2008 with only one flat. Now we have 7 flats in the same building, the Zeki Pasha. We had hosted over 2000 people from around the world. US, Canada, UK, Belgium, Holland, Ireland, Scotland, France, Spain, Greece, Hungary, Sweden, Iran, Iraq, South Africa, New Zealand, South Africa, Morocco, Australia, Korea, Croatia, Norway, Taiwan, Dubai, and many more.
We offer not only the accommodation, but friendship, hospitality, interest and smiles. Because we love to meet people around the world and help them to understand a different culture. And also we may understand other cultures by talking too. We all are mirrors to each other. Every culture is related and connected. Traveling is the most important opportunity to understand that. We just separated with languages but connected by humanity.
The neighbourhood: The street was my play ground when I was a child. We had been playing football on the street 20 years ago . It was an old Greek and Italian neighborhood and street had looked like huge for us, the children of the quarter. Then it had changed. Last Greek and Italian neighbors had died or left the street, new one had come without adaptation. And the street has lost its spirit. 8 years ago an investor has come, and organized people to own or hire the buildings and transform the area into an entertainment street. Now we have lots of cafes and restaurants in the street and a lively life. Especially on summer weekends it could be really crowded and noisy.
Our guests like this liveliness and ambiance, But our most important advantage is the location. You can walk everywhere a tourist should visit in Istanbul. Bosphorus, Eminonu, Dolmabahce, Topkapi Palace, Grand Bazaar, Istiklal Street. Of course these are not the only place you can head to. You should come and see
The feeling of our property: Because we don't see it's just a business for us, we would like our guest to feel at home like we feel, when they are here. We decorated the flat as our home, and don't stop to change to make it more comfortable. I assure you feel like home. The decoration is touchy. We painted the floor white, because it should be lighted. There are close building around our one, so, before we painted the floor white, the apartment was shady. Now it is full of light day and night. The kitchen is full of equipment to cook and dine. The rooms are not narrow and offer enough space. Those all I can say about our place, I hope you'll experience it and feel at home thousands of miles away of home.
