Venture back from your summer, fall or winter day of activities, traveling on one of Vermont's most beautiful backcountry roads, to this tranquil property with gorgeous views. Situated in Landgrove, we are a mile from Weston, its summer theater and fall antique and craft events. Stratton is 14 miles away, Okemo 12 and Bromley 6. Manchester and retail shopping is 25 minutes away, and the supermarket in Londonderry a ten minute drive.
Our new, elegant guest house has been designed and built with native materials in a free and open floor plan. The centerpiece of the large loft-like main room is a fully restored and modernized marble-topped French continental bar over 12' long. The solid stainless back-bar is equipped for entertaining and light meal preparation.
The very spacious and quiet bedroom, suitable for a couple, or small family, includes a queen and two twin beds. The bath of marble and marble-mosaic tile, has ultra-modern fixtures.

We love to hike, bike and ride in the summer and fall. Winter, the skiing is great - whether just out-the-door on cross-country skis or snowshoes, or downhill at Stratton, Okemo or Bromley. A wonderful farmer's market in Londonderry is open on Saturdays from May through October and offers some of the best Vermont products - from organic cheese, meat and vegetables, to flowers and crafts. Antique flea markets are scattered throughout the area and usually offer some surprisingly good finds. But what we enjoy most is the peace and solitude of the woods and the songs of its feathered occupants, like the hauntingly beautiful hoot owl calls resonating through the forest at night.
I would like to thank the owners for a wonderful stay!what a beautiful location in the small town of Landgrove-A hidden treasure! the house was perfect for our family of 4.It was a great place to be before we sent our son to college in Vermont. The setting is peaceful...and clean as a whistle.I would recommend this rental to all!! you will not be disappointed--We will be back!Thank-you so much!
The stay at the property listed 258439 was above cut, being most agreeable in comfort, hospitality, safety, and an almost perfect ORT of seclusion.
Out hostess and host were particularly agreeable, helpful, and sincerely congenial and shared a wonderful nature with our children.
The blooming garden just before our doorway was a quintessential condiment to Vermont's environmental beauty.
This residence /our stay was most remarkable, to such a degree that the entire family agreed to return next year; so be it, we look forward to our return.
Therefore,it would be impossible to recommend for the moment, what we found so harmonious for our selves. We traveled extensively for our two week stay and we shall repeat the same path to this vey special nook.
My husband and I and our two boys (ages 12 and 5) stayed at this beautiful guest house for the weekend. The location is great..easy to get to town and many outdoor activities..hiking, waterfalls, shopping. The house itself is basically one great room with a wet bar that houses a toaster, microwave, small fridge, sink and electric kettle. Perfect for making coffee and having a light breakfast. The room is more than comfortable for bringing in food for dinner if you don't want to eat out. There is a comfortable area with a TV and coaches/chairs and the other side has a pool table..can't get any more fun than opening up a bottle wine and playing pool! The bedroom has an adult size bed and two twin beds. The house is very clean..the bathroom is pretty and spotless, the bed linens are the nicest I've seen in any rental home. I would highly recommend staying here with a small family or a couple.
Beautiful location! This property is perfect for a quiet getaway. Owners were wonderful hosts, very pet-friendly, very accommodating. I would definitely stay here again.
Simply fabulous. Wonderful style and décor. Stunning grounds and surroundings. Don’t miss the horse & sleigh ride, available just down the road. Perfect VT escape for a couple or small family.
