Casa Noche del Mono sits within a private nature reserve located in the hills above the Pacific Ocean on the southern Nicoya Peninsula. Our unique location ensures complete privacy, tranquility and abundant wildlife. Inspired by the Spanish colonial haciendas found throughout Central America the house is built around a central courtyard adorned with fountains and plants. While all portions of the house are finished with the finest details (including granite and marble countertops, private terraces and bathrooms adjoining each bedroom and modern appliances) the atmosphere is casual and perfectly suited to the natural surroundings. In addition to the 3 bedrooms, the house includes an indoor/outdoor rooftop terrace, a living room, a den with satellite television, dining room, eat in kitchen and a 60 feet long main terrace. The large, infinity pool is perched dramatically on a hillside with spectacular views of the jungle and mountains beyond. Lush gardens surround the house and pool.

Casa Noche del Mono is located in the hills above the Pacific Ocean on the southern tip of the peninsula. Our unique location in a private nature reserve ensures absolutely privacy and tranquility in a secluded jungle oasis - but is a short drive away from all of the attractions the area offers. We are located less than 10 minutes from pristine Playa Manzanillo, 20 minutes from Sta. Teresa and Cobano and 30 minutes from Montezuma. In addition, Playa Carmen, Cabo Blanco nature reserve and various other attractions are a short drive away.

Getting There: Finca Noche del Mono is a 5 1/2 hour drive from San Jose on good, well marked roads. The drive involves a beautiful ferry ride across the Gulf of Nicoya and lovely scenery through the mountains outside of San Jose. In addition, we are a 35 minute drive from the Tambor airport. There are frequent flights from San Jose to Tambor on both SANSA and Nature Air. Flight time from San Jose is approximately 1/2 hour. Several rental car agencies (Budget and Alamo) have offices close by and will deliver your car to the airport at the time of your arrival.

Golf: There are 2 golf courses (Tango Mar and Los Delphines) located near the property. We will be happy to arrange golf games at either of these courses.
