good location
My husband and I stayed here in winter of 2007.
The location was great, the amenities basic but fine.This property would be great for
families with kids. You can be comfortable without worrying about damaging any
high end furnishings. It is meant for rough and tumble family get -togethers.
We had an issue with the water heater. It was much too small for the home. We had
to take REALLY fast showers (5 min. or less) before the water turned cold. Not so great
in the winter. We were excited to use the hottub but it too was not working properly. The jets
didn't work and I noticed the recent review had the same problem 4 years later. The heater
on it didn't work right so the water was not able to get hot. It was like taking a warm bath.....
disappointing for us so we did let Lakeshore Realty know. The staff was very nice but the
home could use some TLC on the landscaping and maintaining the hottub. Perhaps taking it
out of the ad would be the solution. All in all, a decent house in a good location.............

Thank you so much for your review, I am the new manager of the property and I’m actually so encouraged to hear that we truly have upgraded the cottage since your stay in 2007! In the summer of 2008 we remodeled the property, added a bathroom, put in a new hot water tank, and many other little upgrades. Again in the spring of 2011 we upgraded much of the flooring and did some redecorating and painting. Regarding the Hot Tub, we from time to time, have to do maintenance on it and we successfully were able to repair it. Being that our office is so close to the cottage we’re able to respond quickly to any unforeseen problems with the property. Pretty much from the last time you’ve stayed the location is the only thing that hasn’t changed!
